Welcome back to Casually Competitive MTG! We are a group of friends who enjoy playing fast paced semi competitive EDH games. In today’s game we have a matchup between Elsha of the Infinite Top Combo; Najeela of the Blade Blossom; Brago, King Eternal Stax; and The Gitrog Monster Dredge Combo.     More games = more content As long as you can trim down each game to be about 15-20 minutes (or shorter if there’s quick games) I doubt anyone would mind at all!

    Superb deck choices, nice commander matchups as the first time. I think that this lenght is perfect. 30 minutes for two games allows you to see better how the decks work. The video editing is perfect, no waste of time!

    @@CasuallyCompetitiveMTG Don't worry about beating yourself up about these things though! Magic cards are notoriously tough to pronounce consistently (especially when there are so many played in EDH), and SaffronOlive/Seth has shown that pronunciation isn't near importance... lol

    Saw this in my recommended and thought it looked interesting. I was completely shocked this is a new channel. You guys are now my favorite cedh channel on KZread. (i would've done the same thing) in a way it was a good thing you lost to pact cause if you had won, game would have been waaay shorter with no time to showcase the other decks (which is always nice to see). I'd love to see more stax there and see how the rest handle it. nice job ❤

    While recording my plan was to just end the game early and try to record another one, but I guess that mental misstep had other plans. And don't worry, Brago will be back to showcase how staxxy he can be. We also have a few other stax based decks planned for the near future so stay tuned!

    I like the longer games. It's not like I'm forced to watch all of them, nor I'm forced to watch all of them in 1 go. I like that there is more to watch if I choose to do so.     Closing Thoughts on this vid are on point. I love the "unintended consequences" look at how cards may have effected the game "negatively" even if hey seemed right at the time. Hope to see more insights like this. These videos are amazing quality so far, so please keep doing great work like this!

    Yeah I wanted to make sure it was clear that the Strip Mine wasn't really the wrong play at the time. Najeela had, what seemed like, plenty of mana for anything so 1 less land would affect that player less than 1 less land for Brago. Glad it came across well. Thanks for the feedback!

    I've only now found your channel (shame on me), but man, what an insane start to game 1. That's the most I've seen a fish do in 2 turns ever. 6 cards AND getting out 4 mana out of a deck that played a turn 1 Najeela and was insanely ahead already - wow. What a card. What a card.

    Great video! One thing to note, when Rest in Peace is destroyed by Abrupt Decay, Rest in Peace goes to exile and Abrupt Decay goes to the graveyard.

    Dude is just going to roll his eyes and blame it on being a foreign word (or some other excuse if it's not foreign) and not bother to correct it. Literally every time I see someone correct a KZreadr on any pronunciation mistake, foreign or not.

    Adam is my kinda guy. Granted I played Bruna Stax in my meta :P I'm also a big fan of deck techs. Going over why you put certain cards in over normal ones and all the various lines you can go through. I'm a very indepth person when it comes to deck building so I like to hear all about it.

    You guys do a great job with the presentation on these videos. Well done. I don't mind seeing two games. Still under 30 minutes to see two good cEDH games. Also, gotta say, Grand Arbiter is one of the THE MOST miserable cards to play against! I hate it! :-)

    Love that I came across this channel. Having a separate format to show the stack is great. My only wish is that the name wouldn’t interfere with the view of the mana bases so much. But all in all. Glad I subbed

    I totally agree with your assessment of Strip Mine play as a "detriment", or even misplay of threat assessment. Unless Nate felt that he could have taken down Jordan by himself... Hey! Great content! It's nice to see two games to better appreciate each deck.

    Love the double-header. Really clunky finish for Elsha, though. I much prefer Chandra's Ignition or Aetherflux Reservoir as wincons. Fairly easy to do with Force, Pact, and Foil in hand. Lotus Petal, Chrome Mox, or Simian Spirit Guide provides the red mana.
