I think you are misunderstanding what is happening. Before he uploads conversations, Farzad edits them by removing the dead space and unrelated chatter. These guys are not cutting-off Elon. You're just hearing the conversation compressed. I agree though, it is a bit jarring. That being said, he probably made the conversation 50% quicker to listen to.

Even threats are fine as long as they're not likely to incite "imminent lawless action", according to Brandenburg test. There's nothing inherently wrong with hate, threats, or degradation, they all have a time and place depending on circumstance. Most of Trump's "critics" would be in jail right now if those things were illegal, so be careful what you wish for.
