Tesla has to go from talk and testing to action and real production. Semi-trucks and heavy trucks, in general, are demanding markets where any manufacturer has to adapt to the various regulations and requirements specified by customers. Typically, factors such as range may be less important as a driver may have to take a break at certain times. Moreover, many logistics companies have transport between two centres, which enables electric heavy trucks at more than 60 metric tons today and charging at the centres. Trucks have to be flexible to be adapted to the specific regulations and customers. Just waiting for Tesla to show a "build your truck" on the web, as other manufacturers do. And as we speak, Tesla Semi has to step up to recover others already in the race.
