and ruin the ecology will millions of toxic batteries when the busses are thrown away. NO one will replace 100k plus batteries.

A self-driving 10 passenger bus makes more sense. It gives the system much needed flexibility. CyberCab to the car pool lot. Then take a CyberBus to your city destination.

Vast majority of uber/lyfts are for 1 or 2 passengers, so small car is the smart play for the majority and will be low cost, bus can have other uses where volume is important, like shuttles

@@ryanviningtube My use case is going from a small city to a big city in groups of 10 who are trying to get to different places at different commuting times. A large bus and small passenger vehicles definitely makes sense in different situations.

Hope they fair better than Edmontons. There’s cost, range and hardware issues so needless to say not many actually being used.

Tesla will be one of the last ones to make electric buses, but they will be interesting for sure. Most likely Tesla will just make the chassis and let the coach builders do the actual bus or RV.

Optimus can work in the Tesla Factory at night. Transform into a buss and drive you and the your family wherever. $$

If construction of bus will be unified construction it will male less sounds inside and outside, what can make them super futuristic out of any sounds. Really panoramic windows could make it best for touristic and traveling purposes. Good back lights and much quantity will safe from much danger situations in cities and villages humans on roads and inside bus. Autonomous system could be much more safe because it is will be much more humans and because it will be long time driving city experience in high traffic with a lot of situations and different road conditions and regulating environment. Tesla bus also could be good assistant in creating better driving and pedestriants experience in cities. Protection from light and street view could make humans more safe(means someone seen other in bus window and decide ...) and much more confident and comfort. Inside calming lights in night and fresh air could be really cool at summer and at night

Busses need drivers. Tesla busses will not. A much easier problem than rideshare. You don't have to worry about apartment complex gate codes.

A Tesla Bus with Autonomous Driving (FSD) that can replace the aging yellow school buses that every US city own and replace the drivers that drive them will be a big revenue opportunity for Tesla. No WS analyst has even mentioned this opportunity. Tesla can also partner with cities to install V4 chargers at school parking lots to charge them, making the chargers available to other customers during off peak hours.

Electric powered Buses is not a new thing. Electric Bueses running since years in the City around the world.

Why is Bibi associated with Elon or is it the other way around? Is it not so subtle a message?

Do you think that in 2035 with the advent of AGI (Artificial General Intelligence) and ASI (Super Artificial Intelligence) they will introduce universal basic income!? a subsidy!? will there be free will!? an era of abundance will begin!? the robot's intellectual and motor capabilities have already surpassed the average human and before 2035 there is talk of them surpassing those of any human and then again those of any human combined! regarding both body and mind! answer me please...

This is great news. However, Tesla is behind other players related to the semi truck as well as a bus. This might be innovative in the USA but not in Europe. Manufacturers such as Volvo corp and MAN deliver electric buses in high volume for cities and bus companies around in Europe.
