Elon Musk GETS FURIOUS During Interview with Don Lemon! Body Language Analyst Reacts!

Ойын-сауық

Elon Musk CANCELLED a contract over this interview with Don Lemon. Shortly after this confrontational interview concluded, the owner of X (previously,Twitter) voided a contract he had with the former CNN reporter for an interview series. But what could have possibly happened to cause such an extreme decision, and what can their body language, facial expressions and word choice tell us? Find out now!

I've seen several vlogs on this same interview, and seen so many comments. I agree with yours the most. This is exactly how I feel. I could barely watch this video and also, the video he did with Monique 😓... Hed ask her a question, she or her husband would try to answer and explain their answers, and Don just cuts them off. I don't agree with everything any of them has done. I feel that each of them could've done things differently, but Don, you can't ask your guests questions, then cut them off and want to go to the next question without letting them explain. Then you want them to " Explain Why They're Feeling Pressed "... He's so rude🤷🏾😓@@parisian44

As a therapist who works closely with neurodivergent individuals daily, I commend Elon for navigating the adverse situation and communicating properly with someone who was ignoring the fact that the interview was upsetting. I also find it extremely rude that someone could be so bold to ask personal questions and then be rude when Elon says that they are not appropriate for the interview. I do not blame Elon for canceling the contract. He has every right to and should do what is best for him. It is clear that Don is not the person Elon wants to work with. I would have been uncomfortable in this interview, yet Elon was elegant even up to the very end when he decided to leave. 👏

@@TheBehavioralArts Meh. Not really true. Musk has just gone through an obvious, major drug problem. For a year or two he has been making major decisions late at night on weekend nights, posting them on Twitter when he is obviously partying. For example discarding the Twitter brand was a 3am Saturday tweet near in time to sightings of Musk at raves, and a very erratic interview happened a day after the last of those rave sightings. He has been obviously medicated in many interviews now, those interviews typically devolving into strange, well-- tweaker freakouts. The scariest Nazi stuff-- and make no mistake, he engages with straight up literal neo-Nazi material regularly-- he's engaged with on Twitter has happened near in time to observable sightings of the man impaired by his poly-drug, primarily stimulant, abuse. The drug question is very major with Musk. He seems to be recovering; he's less meth'd up with Lemon than in that interview where he freaked out bigtime. He has the look of a man suffering with post-acute withdrawal, or a hard taper off of drugs, to me, not that I can say that with surety. Media has failed to engage with Musk's drug problem seriously and it is a significant concern for this man who occupies an unelected position of geopolitical power (what with his security clearance, national security impact etc). Lemon's intent was not "bad" in pursuing a major story directly, even if it may have been hostile from Musk's POV. I must admit, as I wrote this, that I came to agree with you that Lemon was highly manipulative & hostile. But this is not a friendly convo between two friends; it's an interview with an important man. It's the most legitimately journalistic move of Lemon's career and I hope it becomes a pattern; I would guess it's more likely to just be a stunt though. Broken clock's (Lemon, I mean) right twice a day and all.

@stephen11627 Actually, hopefully he'll figure out what Elon thought of his behavior & he'll read what the masses thought of his behavior & learn. It's one thing to ask the 'hard questions' as old time JOURNALISTS did, it's another thing to keep attacking your to be boss when you're still in contract negotiations. The first time he brought up the r word..well okay (sort of). But to keep drilling it in is an attack. Another thing, I think Elon expects everyone to give as much as he does into his companies & I would think their pay would show it. He obviously has employees & we don't know the turnover rate. But if you have an upbeat, even quirky boss that shows appreciation, you will just about walk through fire for him.

Don's whole basis for asking if Elon was abusing Ketamine was based off the fact that he tweets. Period. Literally, Don's saying "You tweet a lot, is that because you're high/drunk?" Wtf? How did he come to that conclusion? And he stigmatized ketamine by suggesting Elon was "getting" high from it at all. It's the same stigma people face for all psych drugs- having to explain the difference between legally using medicine for a health condition vs the people who abuse it. & Elon was completely right to point out that Don ignored Elon's well known rigorous work schedule which suggests he's nothing but a functional member of society & not just sitting around high & tweeting all day. Actually, if anything, I may have asked Elon, "How do you maintain such a rigorous work schedule? Do you have to take drugs to maintain that schedule?" That would've made more sense to me than trying to stigmatize ketamine based on tweets.

Sorry that you can’t grasp the simple logic that not everyone on a highly controlled drug will become an addict. I’ve suffered from depression for over 20 years. Hospitalized 3 times. Ketamine, like ECT, has been shown to have some seriously amazing effects in terms of lifting depression. I’m considering it now myself. Sometimes I wonder if depression is inevitable for the intellectually gifted who must regularly deal with simple-minded (or personality disordered) individuals such as yourself who can only handle the world in terms of good/bad. DL really counted on Elon losing his temper & getting angry, hitting pay dirt with an Elon Musk outburst. Elon stymied Don by keeping his composure. The more Don hammered away at Elon, trying to get a rise out of him, the worse he made himself look. The only people saying bad things about Elon after this interview are people with an agenda or who would never admit the truth. Hey Spidey, I am autistic, at least from my experience, it takes us a moment to be able to get our thoughts together and then be able to say it. First time seeing or hearing Don Lemon, he came off as disrespectful and like he already made up his mind about a narrative. Instead of bringing thoughtful questions filled with fact, which makes it easier for those of us that cannot understand cues, he went fully emotional. I am surprised Elon Musk lasted as long as he did, I would have walked out right away. The first thing I tell people I meet and will be interacting with is "Hello, my name is______, I am on the autistic spectrum and cannot understand social cues, I am emotionally awkward so if I react incorrectly please let me know." instead of Don Lemon creating a safe place, it felt confrontational. Thank you for your analysis! Helps me learn how to read others so that I can try to react accordingly.

I also love the fact that you try, obviously with success, to read other people even if a lot of them are morons! That's brilliant! Yes! Thanks, my autistic fellow. Sometimes it feels like I'm having this type of frustrating conversation with most neurotypicals. I'm clearly and concicely stating a fact or opinion which the NT keeps misinterpreting, usually unintentionally or sometimes intentionally. I can sum up in one sentence what others take a verbal equivalent of a novel to say (exaggeration). So I feel your pain! I find communicating in writing so much more efficient than talking, as I can understand their points and also have evidence for when they try to gaslight me about something in the conversation. Unfortunately, it's usually not if, but when the gaslighting occurs, either unintentionally (some people forget actual things that were said or happened if they get emotional) or intentionally.

I'm a theatre director and have a degree in Sociology. I have done countless hours of research on why people behave the way they do in order to create realistic characters on stage. Don Lemon entered the interview with the perception that he had landed an interview with the worlds richest man and one that is considered a genius. Don Lemon showed he was going to show the world his incredible talents as an interviewer. He was impressed with himself and felt he had created questions that would show that he is more insightful than Elon. Don was not prepared to question a man that is not only intelligent but had to way every word he says so his companies and shareholders do not doubt him. Elon was done with Don after the questioning of Freedom of Speech. I also didn't understand why Don wanted to speak about data and then switch to emotional questioning. Don does not understand the meaning of the word...Cogent . Hilarious.

I don’t think Don expected Elon to get upset. And it seemed to me that Don was giving Elon the benefit of the doubt that Elon truly didn’t think Don’s questions were cogent/sincere, which was frankly deeply insulting Don to his face, though Elon due to his Autism Spectrum, probably can’t see that it was insulting. Don got Elon on the “cp” question.. the illegal thing.. Elon answered that if it’s not illegal, it’s allowed on his platform. Really, Elon? So if laws were changed on that, you’d allow it on your platform. To put it in terms someone of your expertise can appreciate: Elon realized in that moment of him accepting the “cp” argument from Don as an example (if hypothetically cp were legalized) in that moment, Elon realized that his plot armor of absolute free speech to justify how far he’s taken X down the right-wing rabbit hole with him, experienced a 4th wall level meta defeat, in real time. And he was checkmated with his faulty stage character logic and his ego exposed and he was upset.
