I attended the New Worlds Record concert tour. The spaceship came up from underneath the stage. Laser lights everywhere. It was absolutely crazy phenomenal. One of the best concerts I ever attended. The music was so loud my ears were on fire 🔥

Jeff Lynne is one of the greatest musical minds in the history of Planet Earth. The man is incredible.

I love the ELO so much. I used to play the cello, though. It’s actually my favorite group from the UK, even though I like the Beatles and the Monkees too.

Nah, he was quite good tho. McCartney and Prince Rogers Nelson were much better. McCartney & Lennon are the best song writers and best part of the best band ever. Prince is most probably the most talented musician since Post-War 2 era.

You can't help but sing along when you hear an E.L.O. song. We need them now more than ever.

Such an underatted band who created so many masterpieces from the 70s. Like I said ELO they are my musical antidepressant.

My all time favorite ELO song, it's just that good.

My first concert at the Great Western Forum 1981. Awesome show.

Song takes me back to 1970's and WSAI AM, great young memories. Learning to drive in my older sister's powder blue Cutlass. Those were the days......

Hearing those light hearted lyrics and beautiful melodies gives me goosebumps all over and takes me back to childhood summers in the 70's. "Gotta get back to you". Well made music is timeless. My children are swaying in approval behind me.

The way this band used vocals as like another rank of instruments was awesome, it's like listening to different coloured lights darting and bouncing off everything else. It all serves to dance ones spirit in different, surprising and complimentary directions. Absolute musical artistry with a genuine effect of emotional articulation. Brilliant

Great remaster. I didn't think so at first but 10 seconds in and I could feel it. The first concert I ever saw about 1977. Thank you Jeff Lynn and the lads. ❤️

I saw these guys in Nacogcoches, TX around 1998. WHY I saw them in 1998 and WHY it was in Nacogdoches, I'll never know. But I'm glad I saw them and it was an incredible moment for me. I had two or three good friends who loved ELO. And what made it kind of funny was ELO looked like they hated East Texas as much as WE all did. Great night.

You did NOT see "these guys" in Nacogcoches. The band you saw was "ELO Part II", which was as close to a cover band as you can get. That's why you saw them in such a small venue as a nightclub in Nacogcoches! Read this: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ELO_Part_II Also, the fact that it was agreed to by Lynne during the settlement, that the "new" group would be allowed to use the name "Electric Light Orchestra Part Two" has served to cause confusion for all these years. If you go to Amazon and look up the "new" group's first album, self-titled "Electric Light Orchestra Part Two", you will find most reviewers don't realize that this was not the original Electric Light Orchestra (which was, in all respects, a Jeff Lynne creation). In fact, many reviewers actually think they are reviewing the Original ELO's second album, which was entitled "ELO2" in the UK, and "Electric Light Orchestra II" in the US. (different covers). All respect to Jeff Lynn for trying to do the right thing, I know he came to regret agreeing to letting the "new" group to use the name "Electric Light Orchestra Part Two", because nothing but confusion, misunderstanding, and frankly, incorrect attribution has resulted. But ONLY true, die-hard ELO fans, from the beginning, would understand that. It is also the reason why Jeff's only alternative for referring to HIS band later, was to use "Jeff Lynne's ELO" as their name. As one of those true, "from the beginning", die-hard ELO fanatics, I felt obligated to set the record straight.
