I think all this reported "hate" is created by our so called leaders who want to separate and control us. I don't see all this "hate". I am white and I live in a very mixed area near Chicago, I don't see anyone calling people names, trying to do anything to them, etc. At work, socially, everyone seems to get along just fine.

We need to bring this back.....flash mobs dancing to good music. It's not too late. I'm 52 and this is probably the one thing I want to do most before I die......

I was 11 in 1980..The year my dad died. I'm 51 and got kids of my own now. I tear up when I hear this, times have changed. Too the new generation... Peace To my dad, rest in peace.

My Father passed away when I was 9nin 1978, so I can identify. Always loved ELO, this is one of my favorites of theirs. This song was used in a dance segment in the Movie Xanadu with Olivia Newton John. Good movie, great music

I have noticed two versions of this video……this appears to be mostly professional dance troupes…..the other version seems to have a mix of professional dancers and random guests from filming locations…. Either version, still great coordination and video editing. I first heard this on the 1980 Top 40 countdown. Catchy tune so had to check out the video.

He also had vocal choir arrangements in his music...making the music sound very "angelic". Immediately following the end of "wars". What does that tell us? A laugh is empty and temporary without the tears compelling it to urge its emotion. The feel good for a day and sadness for an age is a requirement for in the least an acceptable co-existence. @@torch8922, I've been fantasizing about something similar ever since I first saw this a couple of years ago. Thanks to the internet, I'd like to coordinate flash mobs around the world dancing to this song. Really thought hard about this, and it's gonna take a lot of work. Pick a day starting at the International Date Line. Pick a time there, and as the world turns, the mobs congregate at like 2 or 3 pm in each time zone. Film it. Include some of the cities mentioned in the song. Whittle down the footage to make a single video. No plans to get Lynne involved, but it's a nice idea. I've got more specifics that I can't get to here. If this is to get done, it's gotta start somewhere. Is this something you really want to do? If so, I'd like to discuss it further with you. Let me know. 🙂

I graduated high school in 1974 on 66 years old and I seen ELO in concert and they were the best concert back in the Day concerts used to be $7 and I've been to over a hundred of them I have all my ticket stubs I've seen everybody in that era those were the good old days I have a lot of good memories

I recently watched the movie "Paul" and this was played on the soundtrack along with ""Don't Bring Me Down". So of course here I am on KZread listening and smiling.

Incredible. Saw ELO live in early 90's. Jeff Lynne is a fantastic artist, musician and songwriter. So talented. This video makes me smile.

1:57-That little girl appears, grabs that guy's hand, and they both dance. Beautiful. Put's a smile on my face each time I watch it. 🙂

Another of my feel good songs ❤❤❤❤❤

I play this song over a PA system every year on New Year's Eve in our neighborhood clubhouse, while we shoot off fireworks. Always a big hit. In the early 80s, when I was on a roller-skating "speed team" we used to have a skating routine to this song as well. Boy, those were the days....⛸

This should be the world’s anthem after the year we have all had we need to come together never mind what religion or what skin colour we have we are a race and it’s called HUMAN 🙏🏽

@@MusicLover10538 They were scheduled for another show at a smaller Amphitheatre here @ Chastain... Very Classy too !! That was last month 🥺... I love them... I had a tremendous seat. Great videos. But not to techno savvy... Just learned when I first started learning to catch shows on my phone. I actually have Adele on my channel. So proud, cuz it shows the human side to her after chasing pavements... Then sang 2 famous, brilliant songs. . HAD A NICE RESPONSE, CONSIDERING YOU CAN HERE ME. . . AWHILE BACK... id've had some great & unbelievable vids.. Met John Mellencamp when he was John Cougar...I was 18, or 19. But told him I was 22. (Why, I dont know: well, he asked later) Told me the next morn "I had pretty eyes" - I have a neat story...but, worked last night, & again tonight. Im a Nurse. Im exhausted + someone hit my car, & took off (while I was at work) So,TTYL: Stay Cool🤘🎵🎶👏
