Elizabeth Smart shares insights 20 years after abduction

"I have a wonderful life and there’s every reason to believe that like there is nothing quite as resilient I think in this whole world as the human spirit," said Smart this week.

Her father was a warrior for his daughter's return. I recall being so surprised she had been found alive. Amazing story with a wonderful happy ending.
"No matter what you have been through, it is possible to be happy" AMEN 🙏
Her recovery still gives me goosebumps 😮
I hope her life is happy and peaceful. She deserves every second of JOY.
I just can't believe it has been 20 years. So glad she was found and is strong and thriving.
So happy she survived. Bless all the that stood strong together.
She's very strong to be able to come out and tell her story. Not many victims do
I remember exactly where I was when the news came across the radio. I didn't realize how emotionally invested into this until that moment
I'll never forget being on the search team. My friend Dan Zaugg and I broke off from the search team and started to go up Dry Gulch and the South Fork trail but we were stopped from going up the trail by other investigators.
Without intending to sound reductive or superficial, she looks absolutely stunning and rejuvenated as a redhead. Truly, a fiery phoenix rising from the ashes!
She's such an Inspiration, she's so Strong, she's a Survivor!! 🙏🙏🙏🙏
I’m in Canada and yet I will never forget this story.
Never give up hope, until each and every missing person is found 🙏
She is an amazing woman ❤
The back ground music is horrible, It is difficult to listen to her story. 🙄
I'll never forget where I was and what I was doing the moment I heard she was found. So crazy.
I’m so confused. Its probably just the loud background music.
Real sad. Glad she made it out. 🙏
Never give up
♥️😢🙏🏻
