That narcissistic woman is completely delusional. She admits to creating a “character”. Keep that woman away from health care and the medical field. She is no different than a magician. She puts on a show and hopes the audience won’t see through her tricks. She had those babies believing the jury and judge would be sympathetic and not want to put a new mother in prison. Those two babies are just another “trick” and that is so sad.

Being too old when she got out is the only reasonable, perfectly understandable explanation I could think of for why she would choose to have kids at this point... but incredulously, it's not the explanation she gave to NYT ... her ridiculous explanation was that she didn't think she'd be indicted and then she didn't think she'd have a long sentence, which is delusional.

It is really disappointing to see all these conciousless people foaming at the mouth to see this woman suffer, when she is already losing her children's childhoods, spending a decade in prison, and living life as a financially ruined pariah - all without knowing anything about her story other than what is in her Wikipedia article. Everyon making all these comments should be ashamed.

We know enough about her to know that she done this to herself. Why have the children when she knew she was going to be sentenced? Unless are hoped that she would be set free because of motherhood? This woman has NO-ONE to blame but herself. She's disgusting. No accountability whatsoever. Those poor children

@@karlybarrett1593 That is the kind of conciousless comment I was referring to. What, she should deny herself the opportunity to be a mother for a crime she was not even convicted of at the time? That is a really sick and perverted perspective. It disguists me much more to see people who know nothing about this woman's circumstances or even about the details of her crimes calling for her blood, than to see a young woman get in over her head and resort to fraud to manage an impossible situation she was pushed into by people who should have known better.

@idwtgymn clearly from every single statement SHE has made in the media, she was NOT pushed into anything. All this was her doing. Her story is worldwide. A lot taken from her own statements. No one should be denied the right to motherhood, and certainly not her. But what a selfish woman having them just as a 20 year sentence was hanging over her head. Those children won't have a proper mother taking cate of then for the majority of their lives. That's selfish. If you don't see that then I wonder what's wrong with you. I love how you try and portray this woman as a victim. The only victims were the general public who were given false test results. One poor woman was told her unborn baby was no longer viable, and it was NOT true. Thank god this woman didn't listen to the test results. If ahe had of, Elizabeth would have been responsible for an unborn baby's death!!! Don't you dare try to portray this woman to me as a victim. She is exactly what the media have said she is, she's a monster. To risk people's lives like she did is disgusting . She is A callous greedy shallow monster Why do you defend her? You know as much as the rest of us.

@@karlybarrett1593 You obviously have no idea how these sorts of things work if you don't even understand the pressure she was under and the failure of industry veterans that produce that pressure. This complete ignorance of the situation you are exhibiting makes your callousness over the destruction of a family even more despicable. Your ignorance extends to every aspect of this case. No one expected a sentence at the level she got, let alone a 20 year sentence. She by no means had kids knowing she was not going to be present for the majority of their childhoods. Not that your case would be valid if she did. Should a woman with cancer not have kids? Why do I defend her? Like anyone else with a conscience I refuse to join a blood thirsty mob when I don't have all the info, which is enough to call out your inhuman behavior. But in this case I do know a lot more about the situation than you clearly do, enough to know this sentence is egregious.
