"Whoever double-crosses me and leaves me alive, he understands nothing about Tuco. Nothing!" - Tuco
It's amazing that a son of a candy store owner, a Jew from Brooklyn New York could play a Mexican bandito better than anyone else. RIP Eli Wallach. You will be sorely missed. Tuco Benedicto Pacifico Juan Marie Ramirez

You keep going, Eli! You're a real star and a living legend! This guy is the creator of one of the film industry's most enduring, most famous characters: Tuco the bandit. Hell, who else could've pulled it off as brilliantly as Eli did? I never tire of watching that performance because it's so very special. God bless the great Eli Wallach.
Fantastic tribute to your amazing Uncle Eli, AO. Truly an amazing man, a mensch for certain.
Could watch Eli telling stories of his acting life for 3 hours straight. Absolute legend. Rest in Peace!
Tennessee Williams said, "Eli Wallach has discovered the secret to pissing people off: He's happy." 😄

Eli Wallach best line was in "The Good The Bad & The Ugly" Tuco: "YOUR THE SON OF A THOUSAND FATHERS!"
Eli Wallach is the greatest ever.
His most famous quote, and a lesson for life....."When you have to shoot, shoot. Don't talk". R.I.P Legend.

His portrayal of the scheming, conniving, bandito Tuco Ramirez was nothing short of ASTOUNDING. One of the greatest character portrayals ever in the history of cinema.
I love that man. Rest In Peace Mr. Wallach.
good to see this actor again, wonderful stuff
One of the PREMIER character actors of ALL TIME.
Eli did an excellent voiceover for a documentary film about the Donner Party by Ric Burns. He played the famous Mountain Man James Clymun, who told the Reid party to stick to the regular Oregon Trail and not go through the mountains. It was very easy to tell it was Eli reading the part even before the end credits and he did a terrific job with it.
Too little, too late, Eli Wallach should have won several Oscars
Eli Wallach has provided us with a legacy of great performances. A wonderful actor and real life gentleman.
I remember seeing him in many films quite an Actor
R. I. P. great artist
I grew up watching spaghetti westerns in theaters when they came out, I love Eli
What a sweet guy.
We all had a guy in school that was like Tuco
WOW! It must have been so awesome to hear his stories in peroson!
he still has that smile :D
Movie villain or not, there was just something about Mister Eli that made me love him since I was a munchkin. Gold teeth and all. ❤️❤️❤️ What an actor.
"Your hand is shaking hah? EHEHEHE" - we know that only best uncles say this.
What a legend, rip Eli.
I miss you Eli. Would have been so deeply honored to meet you. To spend even an hour listening to you. 😓
@wslandry he did write an autobiography, its called 'The Good, the Bad, and Me: In My Anecdotage'. im just about to buy it!
Tuco say hello to Sergio Leone for me.
Legend
Eli Wallach is my hero.
I love the way Tuco runs for cover!
so funny!
4:08 EPIC :D!!! ELI4life
Your hands are shaking aaaa...even a simple statement at that age has an aura written all over it!
They will never make Legends like this again
Tuco was a legend
Tuco Benedicto Pacífico Juan María Ramírez! A men whom you were able to listen too! You had a wonderfull wife, carrer and life! Tx for enjoying you Eli!
A great actor, whose fan I was and is and will always remain. In real life a wonderful man, I always had a dream someday hope I meet my favourite star Eli Wallach. The greatest blessing is he married one woman and till his death never separated (1948-2014) given the modern actors and actresses who mint money and then get married ample of times as if a family and marriage is a game. Another actor I remember is Ben Turpin who loved is wife till her death, whom he tried a lot to save and was by her side till she died, being a Catholic he took her to different religious sites praying for a miracle. Such wonderful rich actors are rare to find. I do miss Ben Turpin but above all I miss you, my favourite actor Eli Wallach!
amazing movie
Today Commemorates Eli Wallach's 100th Birthday :)

the best movie ever
We had it Good back in the day ,watching these type of Western's , We use talk to each other with a dodgy Mexican Accent ,
THIS man was/is the HERO of the THOSE spaghetti films.......Clint is cool etc etc...but THIS guy is the STAR......something like the Dukes of Hazzard...wherein the Boss Hogg was the REAL star of that whole series.....
dam hes either change sooo much or was one of the best actors of all time. i just saw goodbadugly and i never would have thought hed grow up to be this frail sweet jew.

TheDeathofGrace--Well, in 40-odd years, a person's looks can change drastically. It happens to all of us, if we live long enough.
