First and foremost, thank you for your time and review. I have owned 2/3 and listened to DCA. My preference is the CRBN for all genres, although I can see why you choose the DCA Corina for fit, form and function based on your perceived analysis. I personally see the DCA being more neutral and natural sounding as most DCA headphones are. Dan Clark has even said, he tunes his headphones to being life like as much as possible. Whereas the other two are tuned with a signature sound specific to its brand. As you stated in your video, the Stax sound signature is more the traditional e-stat sound. Why is that, well it is because they are the bench mark for most listeners. They are the Kleenex or the Coca Cola of e-stats. I do not find them to be neutral, but with more an emphasis on the higher frequencies. and the least life like than any of the three. The bass is fast, tight, but on the light side. They are dynamic and sets a wide sound stage for sure. The CRBN on the other hand is tuned like a planar. I find the CRBN to sound similar to the LCD-5, but with a e-stat characteristics such as speed, tight and light. I find the CRBN not to be forwarding, but rather laid back. The sound stage not as wide as the Stax, but rather closed in. This closed in sound perhaps can be perceived as forward. Metaphorically, I compare the Stax as listening to an outside concert whereas the CRBN being in a concert hall seating in the back section. The DCA falls into the middle ground between the other two. I agree it is preference, hence why I own both the CRBN and Stax for contrasting sound signatures. I do not choose the DCA because they are the most neutral sounding and I simply would get bored after while. As you stated, to each its own.

I'm getting the CRBN tomorrow and I bought the iFi Phantom to power them alongside my Utopia and HEKSE. I sold my LCD 4 not too long ago and somewhat miss that Audeze sound. I think the Phantom will power them well and having that Xspace and Xbass option plus those tubes will help to give me a more suited sound to my preferences.

@@x32i77 I have the 2022 revision that fixed that issue. I love the CRBN. I'm on the fence if I like the Stax 007 or the CRBN more. The CRBN is waaaaay more comfortable for sure

So I have Stax 007, I replaced the ear pads with Dekoni Elite Velour ear pads made for the Beterdynamic line and since they aren't angeled they make the 007 drivers super close to your ear and make them feel like a detail monster. I recommend them for people who find the 007 too dark

What’s the most affordable amp capable of driving the DCA? I heard it at your store and it was amazing, but of course, it needs not only expensive, but uniquely electrostatic amplifiers

Hard to say as I have only heard it with the Woo 3ES, HeadAmp Blue Hawaii and the Woo WA7e, and the WA7e didn't have enough to really allow the Corina to reach their potential. Woo doesn't list the voltage output on the WA7e but they do on the ES8 thesourceav.com/products/woo-audio-es8?variant=42664246870172 at 800v I believe so this may be the middle ground between the larger amps and the smallest from Woo.

What about Shangrila? Aperio? He1? The topend stax?

Thanks for watching. The HE1 System from Sennheiser is still my favorite E-stat of all time but costs a considerable amount more than the headphones/amp/DAC featured in this video; we don't carry the other two brands currently, and I didn't have the top-end Stax we chose headphones for this video that were similar in price.

Aperio is too treble forward and I found basically everything about the HE1 to be superior minus the soundstage width. The HE1 was also way better than the X9000.
