Love this song. Johnny Marr is a musical genius. I never knew this, but recently found out that Bernard Sumner (vocals, also frontman for New Order) and Neil Tennent wrote the lyrics about Morrissey (vocalist for Johnny's former band, The Smiths) and his morose/melancholy attitude towards life. Gotta love it :)

This is a forgotten hit that not many people have heard but deserves to get more airtime on the local alternative radio stations

Love that you went for the 12”. A classic from the early 90s. Great reaction. Please react to Depeche Mode’s “Home”. A song about the singer’s recovery from alcohol addiction. Very beautiful and powerful. The band almost collapsed after their previous tour. The lead singer actually died for a few minutes from an OD. The main songwriter (and singer of this song) became an alcoholic and the third member had a nervous breakdown. The 4th member quit. But they came back 3 years later and this beauty was one of the songs they released. Please please please listen to it. You won’t regret it.

Wrong version Tre mate the single version is much better

radio version was much better,,,this is like electronic funk,,,,,falls short of the electronic genre
