It has a DEADLY safetly flaw in the stem, which snaps in half over time at the hinge due to a flaw in the design that even a basic engineering student or anyone with any common sense could see. The hinge clamp is far too short which puts an incredible amount of force on the hinge and surrounding areas due to extreme leverage from being too close to the folding point, so it catastrophically fails/breaks while you're riding, just like it did with mine recently. Luckily I didn't die since I was only going about 10mph but if I was going +50mph I'd probably be dead. I told them the wobble was getting worse and worse since the first month I bought it but they did nothing to fix it and said it was normal! When I informed them it finally snapped in half while I was riding they again did nothing, and even said I'd have to pay to get it fixed even though this has been a well documented safety flaw for years with most Dualtron scooters!

I would not even think about getting one, it would have been the end of me :)......but it looks like fun

Yeah im not sure my guy. The only other place I know of is aliexpress. Your better of paying a little extra money for quality that you know you are going to get and last. Cheap knock off models one don’t last, & could possibly blow up with cheap batteries.

EUC. Once you try and learn it. There is no comparison. Honestly riding a Scooter now is seriously boring. The freedom of riding with no hands is the best in the world. You have to hold onto the scooter the entire time it gets boring quick.

About 210ish. And nope. 59 is it’s max for sure! No damper yet, I’m going to get one soon! It’s fine if you know how to control the wobble. It’s not ridiculous or anything. With a little experience riding scooters you should be fine. But a damper overall would be a good call.🤙🏽

@@JoyRideJay11 I just got my Thunder 2 from Voro last week. I haven’t rode it yet because of weather here in the Pacific NW. rain. The day it was sunny. I had other commitments. I did ride it for a quick minute to test the feel. But not fast and far. For now I’m just doing some small upgrades like an Errex damper and I’m waiting for the finger scanner and the Carbonrevo 710 handlebar. Can’t wait to really get on it and do our Saturday night group ride in Seattle. So hopefully there is nothing wrong.

Hi all, i just got my Thunder 2 and had my first trip to work today. I upgraded from Spider Limited and today was not a pleasant ride. Every time i touch the throttle scooter would jerk forward like crazy. I put P7 on 5 for slowest take off and nothing, not even close to a smooth take off. Is it just me or same for everyone else. I rode for about 9 miles and all it wasn't pleasant commute, basically it jerks forward every time i barely touch the throttle.. Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks.

Congrats on the Upgrade my dude! Honestly it’s something you have to get use to. I’ve learned to barely tap it and ease onto the acceleration. It’s been fine for me, definitely took a week to get use to. You can also turn your p9 setting to 2 or 1. That will slow down your take off. 🤙🏽

Today i held acceleration with my foot and it was better, just can't feel my leg now. Also, it wobbles a lot specially after i let go of acceleration at around 50mph...i saw you mentioned in your video that yours does', i guess i got a lot of pot holes and cracks on the roads in nyc, steering dumper would help with that? I never saw one on the scooter, had one on my nija. If you can explain a bit about it i would appreciate it. Thanks a lot for the reply.

Scooter for sure bro! Ebike is limited. You will have range for days on this thing! And the way gas prices are, it only makes sense. You’ll average a minimum of 60 to 80 miles per charge depending on how you ride. Dualtron is one of the best brands out if not the best, super reliable. I’ve seen people with 10,000 + miles on these scooters! But make sure you get a seat! Makes the ride experience 10 times better! More control and way more comfortable, Plus with a seat it practically is an ebike/moped that’s fast as hell!🤘🏽😆 ride on bro!

If your a Speed Demon like myself. You should probably get it. If not, you should be fine without it. It handles its top speed with ease. I’ve only ever gotten a wobble when slowing down quickly from my top speed. But manageable. 👌🏽😅

I hit 58 on mines but I think this scooter can go way past 60MPH because of the feature with the double clutching. I played around with it a bit but I have no damper yet so I rather not go all out but it feels like the the scooter shifts gears to let out the 60amps and it’s quite nerve racking without a damper as aforementioned

I hit 61 today and weaned off. So basically it seems when you’re riding once you shift to the 60aH with the double clutching of the throttle you’ll feel the torque difference. Sad that there is no display for that but the take off is ridiculous. Again. No damper so I’m playing w/ fire. I’m 179-180 pounds

Oh yeah for sure! Stock, it’s only made for people I’d say up to 5’11 maybe. More like 5’9. I’m 6’3. I got the stem extender adapter. And what a difference! 🤙🏽

I have the wolf warrior x pro and it tops out at 45mph which is fast enough to make your eyes 👀 water. But 59mph is fast enough to make your shoes come off? I'm in love with the dualtron X2 but it is too expensive and has a single stem which can be dangerous for a scooter that can go that fast 🤕

I went with the OEM of zero 10x(T10-DDM), kind of glad it only weighs about 65LB, and also taps out at about 45MPH. Got it directly from the manufacturer from china and only cost about $1000 shipped to USA.

I hit 44mph on my qiewa qpower and I thought that was fast 😑

thunder 2 proves how important sinewave controllers r. the thunder 2 has all the numbers on its side yet the nami, bronco and the king gt are all faster. the king gt even weighs more and still beats it with less peak power. love how the industry is developing. hey dualtron, u better bring the rain with the upcoming storm ltd cuz if not, there aint much reason to buy from u anymore especially if u continue to design ur scooters with that those pathetic handlebars.
