Also forgot one reason as much as it already costs the battery prices are atrocious especially if your battery damages or just doesn’t work anymore that’s my fear!!, it ranges around from like 1000 dollars - or more because of this high up model

I've been contemplating between the many vast scooters that are available, dualtron has been on my short list for sometime, however knowing now that there is no water resistance especially with this price tag, you have settled my thought process towards this particular scooter, with this being said do we know if any of the dualtron scooters actually have a water resistance rating, or are they all within the same category, thankyou so much for this video it was very informative keep up the amazing work on your channel

They are water resistant but don't have a certified rating. I've ridden my Thunder 2 in pretty strong rain 3x now and it's running great

Hi picked up a Thunder 3 last night I ordered from a NYC shop, charged it all night & wanted to lift stem to find metal part that hold silver locking pins $ set screws missing metal on both sides, does Minimotors have a return policy, this looks extremely dangerous???

@@michaelschwab9563 About customer service i hear it ALLOT about Bronco scooters... The thing don't understand is... Who is responsible for it... Bronco as company or FASTRIDE (as exclusive seller).....🤬🤷

A reason not to buy for me is the weight because I live in an apartment building and it's quite heavy at 105 lbs.

It has a DEADLY safetly flaw in the stem, which snaps in half over time at the hinge due to a flaw in the design that even a basic engineering student or anyone with any common sense could see. The hinge clamp is far too short which puts an incredible amount of force on the hinge and surrounding areas due to extreme leverage from being too close to the folding point which results in accelerated metal fatigue, so it catastrophically fails/breaks while you're riding, just like it did with mine recently. Luckily I didn't die since I was only going about 10mph but if I was going +50mph I'd probably be dead. I told them the wobble was getting worse and worse since the first month I bought it but they did nothing to fix it and said it was normal! When I informed them it finally snapped in half while I was riding they again did nothing, and even said I'd have to pay to get it fixed even though this has been a well documented safety flaw for years with most Dualtron scooters!

Other than the extra power, everything else sucks compared to the original Thunder. The buttons are smaller and impossible with gloves, the eco button hardly does anything, and there is no audible feedback for eco mode off / on (aka the sound of 1 motor vs the sound of 2 motors). Switching from T2 back to original Thunder is like, wow this is so much easier to ride, to quickly flip between full power and sidewalk power. Even the colors, the original Thunder allowed for fully custom RGB selection. T2 only has a few presets. Clearly two different people designed the Thunder 1 and Thunder 2.

2:39 they should sell it smaller so peepol see difference max speed low distance and slow speed max distance. with same battery. you eat battery by power. 100km race fastest time win rider #1 drives 100kmh rider 2# drives 25kmh and even stop to eat icecream bfore think i say #1 stop recharge 50km. question is how fast can recharge to get enought i mean full if battery died 50km you need full. you have 1.5h time recharge bfore #2 reach you. do you have charge enought to drive 26kmh to win. EVEN break rules you supposed ride 100kmh all the way and win
