I notices that almost none of the el-scoot companies really bother with safety ... what I mean is that if I go shopping, I will have to leave it outside, well not the best idea as we know and so I wonder why isnt there a special hole, a hook or something where I could put the U lock in so it is locked properly. It has been many years since the el scooters are being made and yet up to this day all we get is an alarm and a fact that you cant drive away with it lol :D i mean it does not weigh 2 tons so if someone wanted to they could easily steal it because its not locked....weird how this part always goes unnoticed by the manufacturers

You should maybe name that hill. The Rocky Balboa hill. Reminds me on the movie when he runs up the stairs and once he makes it he raises his hands and jumps up and down. That's probably how the scooter feels when it makes it to the top :)

Ryon I think it's like a formula 1, to go to work if you go far Dualtron is more usable, even so going at 80 km/h on a scooter is crazy. I go with my Thunder and it's wonderful and you have to hold on tight when you accelerate with two engines. if you get caught with Thunder you go to jail, with Rion you go to the cemetery Even so, I like Rion a lot ... Maybe lighten my Thunder with 1Kw of battery and a carbon handlebar, for even more aggressive sensations. Maybe weighing 7 or 8 kg less plus a little diet ;). I have also thought about eliminating the general on/off switch, it only works if switching an external battery, if not, I think this switch can reduce power to the motors. Thank you for your videos, very interesting tests of acceleration and ramp strength, where you see the real strength of the engines. Sorry for Google translator.

I can't wait for Dualtron to come out with solid state batteries for their scooters. Smaller, just as powerful and a third of the time to charge it. Five years I'll give them once all these shortages of everything is over. Toyota first then it'll trickle down. Like the this model but nothing is moving me in a hurry to change out my Eagle Pro yet. A few miles per hour faster but in reality I rarely max out with it. 40 is fast enough.

I compared the Rion2 RE60. Totally not practical. My Thunder is infinitely more usable for day to day. Only thing the Rion has going for it is speed. It doesn't even have a kick stand. If you actually ride the Rion at top speeds constantly, you'd be lucky to get 10 miles of range. While I like Rion as a company and would be happy to buy a more practical, everyday use commuter scooter if they'd offer one, their current offerings are completely for track use only. And lastly, their scooters are about as bad a design as you can go with respect to water resistance. Absolutely no riding in any kind of wet condition.

Great video! To be honest the thunder is the right sized scooter for the power and the performance, anything more you lose storage ability and portability, also appreciate the fact that you wear full motorbike gear, people simply don't understand how fast and stable it is, if you change the tires to PMT's and add a steering damper it takes it to another level, the tires that it comes with are horrible. PS yes the rion:) but the dualtron... change the controllers if you want more speed.

80 km/h i beton w pobliżu nie brzmi jak najlepsze połączenie. Fajne filmiki, ale takie prędkości to chyba lepiej na zwykłej drodze rozwijać :)

Yea, pretty funny with that theft protection on fingerprint. All I have to do is to cut off your finger, right? Well, easy handle. How many miles can you ride in full speed (dual mode 3) til the battery is discharged? Too bad this thingy does not come with a certificate of conformity that allows you to drive it on the road.

I wonder. 1300(1000 in discount) for an janobike t85... Goes about 85. Vs an thunder. I know thunder is better build quality. But it's 3200 at least. I just think at this price it should have an app and GPS or other usefulness

The Thunder is at least $3700 USD to more like $4000USD. I don't know where you got $2500 for thunder.

haha... so unfair to compare any scooter after you've ridden the RION. Thunder Vs. Rion is like BMW vs. Ferrari. You can drive the Thunder (like a BMW) everyday and have amazing performance where as with the RION (like a Ferrari) you drive it for the thrill and fun but would make a lousy everyday commute. Poor Thunder... Having to go after a RION is so unfair. Personally I would LOVE a RION but logically, the Thunder makes more sense for everyday. (Can't afford either at the moment so it's a moot point! lol)

hey WW! As you know, I got a Thunder last Friday! Go MiniMotors and Go Thunder! Regarding Rion. I looked into the Rion2 RE60 -- about the same price as the Thunder -- and while I can't argue that the Rion is faster in acceleration, but it's only that. It's a racing scooter that doesn't even come with a kick stand. It's totally not practical. And due to its design to blow wind through the battery compartment, it's probably one of the worst scooters for any kind of wet ground. It'll easily get water into its battery compartment. It's just not a very usable and practical scooter. Battery life is total shit if you actually go at fast speeds. I wish Rion would use its tech and premium construction to build a much more practical competitor to the Thunder that a regular commuter could use. I'd be happy to support / buy a Rion that's designed for the normal user. But for now, I think the Thunder is about as good as it gets for an escooter. The Dualtron X is not even a scooter, it's a Motorcycle that you stand on. 😛😜
