Beautifull I've done rewinding motors 40 years ago by hand. A motor of this size could take more than 2 days for a complete overhaul. It nice to see all the machines in process, even for the shaping of the wire bundles. We did this with a hammer, hitting on another hammer shank to prevent damaging the wire :-)

Hi Thomas,Thanks for your sugestion..
Hello colleagues! Some people ask about the type of this engine. The windings are terminated with three wires, i.e. two yellow, two red and two black (the same color belongs to one phase). Thus, it is a typical three-phase induction or three-phase synchronous motor winding based on a permanent magnet rotor or a synchronous reluctance motor. Congratulations to the Producer! I greet all of you visit my website and You Tube :).

@rolandlastname5532

This video clearly shows how 3 pairs of coils are made of wire, and bundled with a piece of yellow tape. Then, a pair of coils is inserted in the grooves of the stator and on a separate machine the part of the coils sticking out at the ends are pressed in a neat and compact shape. The 2nd and 3rd pair of coils are inserted after rotating the stator 120 degrees. Paper sheets are inserted between the winding heads of the coils to insulate against the voltage between the phases. Finally, the winding heads are supported for stability with ropes using a kind of sowing machine. There are 2 coils (north and south pole) for each of the 3 phases, for a total of 6 coils. Each coil has 2 wire ends, marked with insulation tubes with color coded phase. Connections are real simple. North and South coils of each phase are connected in series (or parallel) leaving 2 wires per phase. The terminal box will have 6 terminals, or 3 if the phases are connected star or delta.

I was always wondering how they can do the winding for this kind of motors. No I see it with my own eyes but I cannot 100% follow the process. :) I am surprised that the coils seems to be much larger, than the iron core. Are these 3 phase motors? These must be kind of powerful (with this diameter of copper wire) and precision motors.

Good work
I did do this as 17 years old electrician clerk in a motor repair department in Germany manually. I think an educated/experienced worker can do this quicker and produce more reliable motors. The workers here even do not see or notice when the machine power did damage isolation of the wires etc. . I also think there is too much copper wire outside the stator. I.e. wasting material, endangering movement of this extened copper (of the copper heads) due to vibration of the running motor ... or even long/mid- term damaging of the paint/lacquer of the vibrating too long copperwires outside of the stator. However, I am not a specialst in this field. This just did belong to my education and I did do it just a few month. ... may be I am wrong.
