Electric Bike Technologies Electric Eco-Tad Trike Review - $2.3k

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

The Electric Bike Technologies Electric Eco-Tad Trike is a tadpole trike with a focus on value as well as stability with efficient tires, recumbent seating position, and adjustments to get you dialed in. Open platform allows you to swap battery sizes, adjust the top speed and amp flow to change performance vs. efficiency, large bright display panel is easy to work with, nice efficient road tires. A 500 watt motor, 48v 10ah battery pack, mechanical disc brakes, a parking brake, motor inhibitor, and reliable mechanical system. The display panel is mounted more securely but you have to glance away from the road to read it, tires suffer on non-paved trails and roads, and it is somewhat heavy and hard to maneuver in tight spaces.

Good tip, a keyword for that part is "fairing" if anyone is interested. I've seen many different types of clear windshields and such that are designed specifically for recumbent ebikes. Check out www.zzipper.com/

Can you get back to me with a message how about getting a 16-inch wheel electric for my tadpole Sunseeker?

Total "kinda" count = 70, an average of one every 20 secs. Amazingly, the auto transcript didn't get confused by the Kenda tires.

Their e-trikes are fairly expensive. Armrests and some way to rest your legs would be a nice addition to this style of trike.

Also in hill climbing... On a two wheeler you can STAND UP on the pedals to add more of your bodyweight to help push the bike against the incline. You CAN'T do that with these guys can you? How do you handle riding up hills with them?

Good quick overview'. I espec liked the rear mounted camera angle segment. I was able to hear the constant, annoying motor noise...always concern for me in selecting an etrikes. Thx for that information.

The only thing that spooks me about these types of bikes is sitting so LOW as compared to the standard two wheelers. It's got to result in both reduced vision by the rider and visibility to other vehicles sharing the road. Otherwise? Looks like a much more stable and comfortable platform for many of us "older" riders.

when ever your ass is lower then the crank you are fighting the force of gravity and if you have feet and ankle problems ( like I do) its better to have a trike like this one because the crank is lower and your sitting higher up. plus its easier to get off and on it.
