It's funny as I grow older, my favorite Roosevelt changes. When I was in HS, I loved teddy, then FDR in college, and now it's Eleanor.

Eleanor Roosevelt was not only a prudent first lady of the United States of America but also a very talented and compassionate humanitarian. Likewise, I deeply admire her for the many wonderful things she did throughout her life including the fact that she was a member of the United Nations and the fact that she was one of the people who advocated for universal human rights.
Happy 132th Birthday today Eleanor Roosevelt!

Eleanor Roosevelt is, and was a Formidable and Remarkable Lady, she was a Blessing to America during a very significant time in America's History.
The FDR administration probably wouldn't of been as successful as it was if it wasn't for the teamwork between Eleanor and Franklin. Both of them encouraged each other to reach for their goals and accomplish them. As a result, Eleanor became the most powerful and influential First Lady in USA history. She was really Franklin Roosevelt's eyes and ears when it came to the concerns of ordinary Americans. She would write up reports and set them by Franklin's bedside for him to read and report to his cabinet. Truly an amazing woman who helped change the world.
What an honorable woman was Eleanor Roosevelt. A pioneer for the rights of all people. Wish she was alive today to help us navigate through the difficulties of today's challenges.

No. She’s been around at least since Bill Clinton’s administration bc she was always on news outlets crying about the president being a liar. It’s quite interesting to juxtapose her behavior then with today.
I think she was really beautiful ...Im 55 and I have always thought that

It was VERY common for royals, nobility and financial elite to marry distant cousins. “No one else is good enough for us, so we’ll keep it in the family.”
Kellyanne isn't smart enough to comment on Eleanor Roosevelt nor does she have enough integrity.

De St we live in a world where we lift up women. Women have been put down for years and it’s been up to now where they’ve actually been able to be someone one. And for this women to say that kellyanne is not smart enough nor the integrity is completely backwards. If Eleanor was here today, would she agree with kellyanne on all things, no. But she would support her in her effort because Eleanor grew up in a time where women seldom spoke their opinions and for kellyanne to speak her opinions, that’s a major advancement

Did Eleanor ever make a mistake? I so shocked she had to die. It seems that as wonderful as Eleanor was Elijah should have just come down and swooped her up so that she could dictate to God.
Media needs to stop giving Kellyanne Conway an avenue to speak her voice at all. Her 10 seconds of fame is up. Most of the country could care less what her take is on ANYTHING. Let’s all wash our hands of that disgusting woman.
Would have been a great bio on Eleanor except for Kelly Ann Conway.

Hello. Dew better. Until then.
When my mom was born in 1922, her given middle name was Eleanor. She had that name through her youth and school days until the Roosevelt's took over. My mom so despised, loathed and was reviled by that woman, she changed the spelling of her middle name. And from what I have read, I don't blame her.

Nah, She was far more progressive and more courageous with her politics than Hillary.. Hillary only came to certain liberal positions when it had enough popular support behind it to give her enough political cover. Eleanor didn’t give a flying F how popular something was - she just stood by her principals from day one, no matter the risk to her or her husbands reputation or political careers.
1:40 Not in my eyes, she was a monster. Like most women R.
