When that job is done, they are cast out, and many elderly end up in social housing, rarely get a visit from their "loving kids" and become an economical burden on their hosts, benefits included. Oh grandma what is that😮
Witterawy love this show
This grandma could have brought the $10000 as a split between the other family members. these people are not that bright.
How could those young men put this elderly woman through this kind of horrible dilemma? they are selfish and greedy. They’re the ones that should be put in prison. They probably figured that security would not frisk an old lady.
I took 4 years of HS Spanish and I cannot have a fluent conversation to save my life! Have you tried to learn a different language? How would you do in 5 years?

I understand what you mean about learning a language in a classroom setting. But if you are living in a country for years where that second language is spoken, unless you have no interaction whatsoever with native speakers, you should be able to function in that language at a more than basic level.

Very easy to live in a country for 5 years and learn English. You can speak it well in 6 months if you try.
With all these goods coming in , Australia would have been the land of plenty 😊😂
I LOL every single time they say it's been a good day after finding such a good haul of narcotics. Party 2nite. Don't bring anything, we got everything 😂
I have a legitimate question with no snark intended: why spend the money to live and study abroad just to learn English? Wouldn't they have colleges in Thailand that teach foreign languages?

Sounds like she wanted to go to Australia and chose the easiest education route to do so.

There is also the possibility that she is working, rather than studying and using that as an excuse to be there. The course cost would be covered by the work. Wouldn't be surprised if the husband was also working illegally.

I would think that studying in the country itself means you get a more conprehensive environment. You HAVE to use the language you're studying. You hear it every day around you, and on the radio, tv, commercials. But the basics should be studied at home so you're not entirely stranded if no one can interpret.

I went to Thailand and many people spoke English. She’s been Australia to study English five years and still needs an interpreter? I would send her back home.

I spent 10 days in Mexico and learned a lot of the language. I could get around easily.
I'm amazed at these days with fentanyl and carfentanil the officers aren't wearing respirators while drilling and sampling drugs
Today's episode is good one.
These people think they are so clever, but is it worth the trouble for fines and prison.

As a citizen of the United States, I find it incredible how other nations take their borders so seriously. Or rather, it is unbelievably incredible how our own nation so dismally fails to do so! FJB!

Trust me they understand way more than they let on…….
Why didn't the family ask a member of the airline to explain they dont understand the papers. and put yes to food . So all of these adults don't know they have food in their suitcases.

Have you ever filled out a declaration?? The questions are VERY simple and in their own language. The aircraft crew can also very easily answer any questions they may have. It also states on the card that when in doubt, check yes

Australia is the only country that doesn't allow food 😅😅😅😅😅 I've travelled all my life to the five continents, nowhere did they told me to declare food, for gods sake.
Amazing how they can live in an English speaking country for so many years, and when they get to the airport, suddenly need an interpreter

Because for the most part they end up living in segregated communities with their own kind. Just like NYs huge Chinatown, it’s not that hard to understand.
