be fair, some no doubt terribly stable lil snowflakes will accuse anyone of cheating on the "evidence" that you beat them. had a hilarious one that somehow thought an aimbot could pick out specific on enemy targets. was robocraft so i was just cutting the bot to nothing in two shots because he left the starting block exposed and i had very good snipers. some people point blank refuse to learn anything. sad really.

Funny build idea, but do a disguise. Like wear the megamind set and carry a staff, but be a strength bleed build. Just something to throw them off from what they would expect

Fun Fact: It also allows you to do some really cool weapon reveals before battle when you combine it with buffs like Sacred Order or Vyke's Dragonbolt (Cragblade is a personal favorite of mine).

Honestly, what's maybe even more impressive than Chase's skill in PVP is is his ability to gauge a player's latency and IMMEDIATELY adjust for it, to the point where he experiences their lag once, and it doesn't affect him again for the rest of the fight. Bananas.

I've found this works best with the burnt ass Smough hammer. The Crozier has a ᴮᴵᴳ problem because it's so easy to see it coming, so what I like to do is fight them with the hammer, wait till I have an opening, then make it invisible. They ALWAYS fall for it because they get used to watching the hammer. By the time they notice the difference and start watching your movements, it's usually too late, and they're either dead or getting there.

This got me thinking, imagine going through the DLC and if there is a new weapon type like great flail or throwing chakrams, invading with those right after your first play through with invisible weapon! If you play with it in your playthrough to be familiar with the move set, just think how many people will have no idea what they're facing or what the move set is.

Man, I love how wacky the spells in this game are. Summon the moon! Throw a rock! Throw a bunch of rocks! Masenko-ha! Make the sword disappear!

It never ceases to surprise me at how many players in this game failing to learn from their mistakes. The wizard spamming the Moonlight Greatsword ice wave attack was a perfect example.

PvE doesn't punish you hard enough for spamming attacks. I too spam blasphemous blade because it works

Most likely due to those mistakes only apply to pvp. You can and probably majority of the people will monkey mash L2 weapon art or spamming sorceries to trivialize the whole game.

Maybe because being invaded is, but it's design, a surprise encounter? This dude is probably just trying to have fun with his friend, and pays no heed to pvp stuff. There's a massive selection bias on that an invader is both predisposed to being better at fighting players and also for having a build suited for pvp. So, despite a numbers disadvantage (which could easily be turned on its head given enemies) invaders are sorta predisposed to defeat their target.

My favorite classes with unseen blade is halberd. I dress up as a mage, throw a few pebbles and when they close up, black flame tornado.

imagine if the ds2 rings were in this game so Chase could just constantly weapon swap and still have them be invisible. that would truly be broken.

Ugh, times like this I desperately wish the Serpent-Hunter could use the full effects of the AoW outside of the Rykard fight. Imagine Unseen Weapon + Great-Serpent Hunt with the sky-splitting blade effects, would make for an amazing cosplay of Fate/Stay Night's Excalibur. If it was a real sword like in Demon Souls and DS3, you could do a pretty legit Saber cosplay.

You know, I was hoping for Scholar's Armament, but I am totally on board with Unseen Blade. If I was part of the group at 3:25, I would have assumed bug or hacks for about 10 seconds before catching on in a chaotic situation like that.

i think that there's also one point about this buff that a lot of people overlook because it doesnt make a huge splash but definately can give you the upper edge. That is: even if an oponent knows what class of weapon you have, they dont know which one. so buffable weapons with unique moves like rogier's rapier can really throw them off. they think they are fighting a normal rapier until they take a charged double thrust to the face.

Just thought I'd mention it in case you ever want to revisit this or if anyone else is interested. I didn't think of it when I first watched the video because I never use her sword

I have a question for u chase, and for everyone else who can answer, since u change ur stats so much im guessing u don’t go out and get a larval tear everytime, so do u just have a saved file with a complete character that has a larval rear and you keep going back to it? Or is it something else u do ?
