I’ve never played a souls game before. But I just beat Rennala and I’m like level 50. I suck. But it’s fun being bad at a game for once. Like the game is 95% me dying trying to learn something. I only watch pvp vids so I’m trying to beat it by my self. 10/10 would recommend

I don't use any KZread meta builds whatsoever. I use an Antspur Rapier +25 and that's it. Nothing else. I'm pretty good at dodging most attacks and with my stats, I poke you twice and now you're dying off from Poison + Rot. In this case, the gung ho invader starts running away only to have to stop and heal or die then I poke you twice again. Rinse and repeat. It has never failed me yet and I've been PVP'ing since Demon's Souls original. Don't care for all the fancy shmancy FP consuming arts. Not needed!

I use dual heavy thrusting swords, it's the bloody helice paired with an offhand blood godskin stitcher. I really like the running light and heavy attack, and the power stance hits are pretty fun and do ~100 and 130 bleed build up. You don't need to use the weapon art very much, but when you do, I prefer to unlock and do a spin sideways or past them and relock for the R2. I don't whip it out very often but when I do it does a ton of damage and usually is enough to finish somebody off when they're shook

rivers of blood is honestly easy to punish, just understand the spacing and poke with pike or banished knight's halberd.

love the content bro, been. watching since I been playing elden ring , since it released and I think you might be the nicest when it comes to pvp. I never seen someone play the game the way you do , it's actually godlike , coming from someone who plays fighting games pretty seriously and understands the whole process of learning certain skills and then implementing them in game , in a game like elden ring I can appreciate how nasty you are at the game for sure.

The trick is to have a much smaller margin for error so you can whittle their hp down and make them all waste 24 flasks total

I have an invasion build request Chase. An homage to DS 3 build. Using weapons and ashes of war that are pretty much also in DS3. Like Caestus and/or Mace with Endure, duel Scimitars with Spinning Slash (Winblades), Executioner's Greataxe with Lightning Slash (Dragonslayer Greataxe), Glaive with Spinning Strikes (Splitleaf), etc... There are actually quite a lot of weapon and ash of war combos to recreate DS3 weapons. Take a quick trip down memory lane.

@@JesseConzemius they only come after he downs multiple phantoms and hunters and finally runs into some overleveled phantom running bleed and bhs. If he solely hunted the hosts (like me qq) he wouldn't ever die because he's 10x better than I am

hey chase, love your content, i have a build that you could showcase, it’s a poison build, mushroom hat kindred of rots exultation, so whenever you poison someone you get a big damage buff, i like to use the flame monks curved sword with poison ash of war, not on the poison affinity because it debuffs damage. again love your content, keep up the good work

hey bro, what's with every one of your weapons being +17 and not any higher. or is it just a resourcing issue.

The addition of crouch attacks that are unique for weapon styles, along with running back step R1s has made Elden Ring, despite all its flaws in PVP, the most versatile and unique of any of the Fromsoft games imo. Even bloodborne didn’t have this level of variety in pvp. Pretty much endless fun lmao.

I think people max out their weapons at levels 100+, most of the final upgrade stones are after crumbling farum azula.

So if you're 90, you're going to be invading up to like 115, and down to 81, if you upgrade to max you won't get many invasions lower than you because lvl 80s are probably not having a maxed weapon. They might be next to max though so you'll still get some. Chase sometimes keeps his lvl 90 build upgrades at +17/+7 to avoid this. If you're already at max upgrades you should just keep leveling unfortunately. They made it tough on invaders with their level limits.

Yeah, pokes are a bit nutty. They are a bit fast for how much damage they do. And can't parry it in this game. Not really broken, but very high tier.

I do invasions on LVL 60 and I did a 105 poise build with daggers (bleed) and the the issue was either bloodhound into ppl to actually hit them, most of them change to spears or magic when they see me on daggers and lets say twin spears >>>> way better than twin daggers xD but against aggressive over confident players you can stagger kill if you spam R1 xD

But...burrito's aren't very healthy... Even just the tortilla is really calorically intensive, tbh. Yeah, avocado only goes into my salads, and I also loathe sour cream. My mom loves it though. I'm an okay cilantro person. I can take it or leave it.

That doesnt show activity on your level, just activity in general(all levels) so doesnt help finding anything

Dude that invade vs 3 and the axe host was well played!! What flask do you recommend for strength builds? And why not use fire infusion for flame strike? Also why cold infuse knights glaive :) Thanks!!

good pokes on the glaive and near 2hits for frostbite (so normal into giant hunt tends to proc huge dmg) idk about flame inf but i tend to stick w smth that can be buffed since that AR tends to outweigh elemental infusions

Have you tried using the serpent hunter great spear most people think your trolling but it hits like a bus at 99str +10 & the Aow has hyper armor and 2 animations and great tracking throwing people off if they roll towards you after the first attack

if a max upgraded str weapon doesnt hit like a truck at 99 str then its probably not a str weapon

Why don't you greet people with the triple fist pump gesture like you used to in DS3? :( it was peak ChaseTheBro. (called Heartening Cry in ER)

I think footpedals for dodge would probably not be great, it takes more effort and movement to actually hit a pedal which woulf probably delay your dodging and if you're just holding your foot above a pedal waiting to tap it, I mean Christ driving a car for under an hour can be tiring I wouldn't wanna think about trying to use pedals for several hours of intensive gameplay.

Makes cueing back up for invasions faster than if you had to cancel then reactivate.

Is +17 the way for RL80? I'm at +15 on normals and +6 on specials, now I'm thinking +17 and +7??

I definitely recommend it. My level 80 build is my favorite build. You get a lot of activity, and +17(regular) +7(somber) keep you from connecting with players with maxed out weapons. I think the highest you can invade is RL99 with +24reg and +9somb. (I think)

Wouldn't a fire infusion deal more damage than a heavy infusion if you got a crit with the misticorde?

Fire on a strength build does more damage in theory, but it's split between physical and fire damage. So the damage you deal goes through two types of resistances. By heavy infusing your weapons they deal pure physical and only go through one resistance type. Plus fire damage is lower while it rains. Heavy infusing thus usually results in more damage output (at least for me) and if you want elemental damage you can always apply a grease.

lots of practice. claw to sprint and keep moving while fingering the dpad for me

For that discussion on dual wielding, I prefer curved swords that onset bleed hella fast. Using two scavenger curved swords are the best since it’s effect is built in and can be buffed. Bandits curved has range but need ash’s for bleed

@@DeoSiege it does have great damage but based on bleed build up, the scavenger has it beat for build up. In the end it doesn’t matter , since damage is better tbh since bosses usually bleed once and then by the time you get another, damage caps them off.

If host keeps summoning minions, just go for the host, especially if it's a mage.
