Despite it being such a huge disappointment, I'm glad they took the spell visuals from ds1r. Almost all spells in ER are so pretty

Ducking the moon veil was dope. Hitboxs seem like they've been drastically improved, being able to duck highs and jump lows. It feels so good jumping someone's low swing into a heavy jump attack.

That said, you still get hit by NPC attacks that completely missed you (this is mainly for the bigger enemies like the axe wielding ogres in the sewers for example).

I ducked plenty of boss and mini boss attacks with(pure luck and)the WA on the godslayer greatsword. the move doesnt look like you crouch as much as you do, but plenty of attacks went over my head. Obviously my experiance wasn't your's, and probably doesnt mean shit, but I'm just sayin.

Can I just say I love how happy everyone is with this game, the game itself and how much fun everyone is having with all these new discoveries. Truly it is a blessed time for souls fans.

Yeah, so full of love discovering: 1. All the bosses in this game are worse than in DS3 2. Invasions ONLY goes against people who have play coop already? And blues spawn constantly. So if you are not Chase the Bro you get wrecked 1vs2++++ 3. Already a hacker out there who can BAN you after killing you with hacked spells. So much for their anti-cheat. 4. No UW support. 5. 60 FPS lock. 6. DS3 servers not back up because of greed, like it's rocket science to backport whatever half-baked BS they have been going with ER to DS3. All the love ... best game ever 11/10 Praise the sun, shower FROM with even more money.

Can't stop enjoying this game. The quintessence of all FROM's games. Jumps (not for 100% ofc) and Malenia's katana w/a from Sekrio, dungeons and Malenia great rune's effect from bb, main things from DS and so much other. Game of the year definitely

Game of the games. ......ever. Oblivion was the first game I ever platinum'd. I was working on doing an 100% on Skyrim when my employee was like...you like Berserk and hard games....ever played this game called Dark Souls? I stopped playing Elder Scrolls and never looked back. Did play Fallout 4....and Sekiro is not that amazing. Would rather play Ninja Gaiden 2 or Ninja Gaiden Black.

It's nutty, it also seems like it can occasionally hit twice if the person is running away? It pretty consistently does 900+ on larger enemies in my experience.

@@prawn1717 yeah the sword and projectile are different attacks and they can both hit someone doing insane damage. On my sorcerer build I can get it to hit for over 2000 I think.

I use that and glintsword spells with bloodhound step to zip around the map and catch rollers

@@prawn1717 Hitting with the top of the blade also lets you hit with the projectile, doing double the damage. It's crazy stuff.

The shield art they were doing on your second run is called, will of the indomitable, and as far as i know its just pure invincibility for a second or two

I love the fashion souls in this game. Praise the Elden Bling!

I love how so many items have bonuses on them for logical reasons. For example their is a set of wizard robes inlayed with red gems that boost bleed sorceries, but the leggings don’t provide the boost because they don’t have any gems in it.

On this episode of 10 FP mage-

Man please keep this going it is absolutely perfect!

Gonna use some of this for my eventual "ice kunoichi" character I've been wanting to make for awhile now. Cool build.

There's a secret frost rapier that has a frost magic ranged attack on its R2 in an illusion floor in the ruins just south of Iji that would be perfect for this build

Hoarfrost is so useful on my caster since it gets ganks to back off & I have a lot of fp to use it

at 7:07 that evil laugh when you landed that hammer cracked me up haha

That backstep with the floating swords *chefs kiss* Just perfect.

I make my first playthrough as a frost sorcerer and interesting thing that i noticed after some test is the darkmoon spell actually count as à full moon spell and a frost spell so rennala's staff and ranni's hat buff applies to it, you can get insane amount of damage in PvE, even in pvp if you manage to hit

In the second fight, it's a shield ash of war called Vow of the Indomitable, it makes you invulnerable to all damage for as long as you're in the animation. Works great on bosses, not so great in PVP unless you surprise someone with it XD.

Love these kind of videos man, been watching sense ds3, these vids hold me over at work until i can go home and play this game. Btw you should do a duel whip build with bleed damage. The range on whips are crazy

The most underrated spell in pvp is Swift glintstone shard you can jump back and cart at the same time mid air great for dodging and dealing damage at the same time, I would love to see you try this tactic

I made it a mission to find most of the spells and ashes and they have been super nice, love the variety

I had a great invasion in the courtyard where that iron maiden is trundling around (I call her Rosie) right before the ball trap. This Finger did nasty bleed with a pair of curved swords, so I ran and healed up. He was coming in hot so I turned toward the dropoff, hit L2, and he walked right into the Troll's Roar weapon art of the Troll Knight's Sword and fell into oblivion. After that, I finished the host by alternating between Carian Slicer and my sword.

God, that bonk with the hammer is so satisfying lol

Seeing Chase as a wizard is sooo odd but I love it, for something he's not 100% use to, did amazingly well

i would be really interested in seeing a glintblade sorcery build! like something with the different glintblade spells, and the carian swords, such as piercer to rollcatch, etc. combos could be super interesting with those too, like what's the timing difference between the release of glintblade and the big glintblade sorcery? and i highly recommend the ambush shard spell for next time you do any sorcery build, casting from behind enemies is such good fun.

Just what I needed after school

I really love the incantations and been building around the dragon incantations but might end up switching but yeah lol

I also like using my rapier with the frost stomp. If people roll to me to avoid it. I can poke them for a stun while they are in the middle of the ice.

I miss the old days of WoW (BC + Lich King) - Undead Frost Mage Used to camp Stormwind Canals all day, water walking potions, invis potions, taking on 5+ Ally constantly. Crowd controlling the entire battle and still escaping the odd time things got out of my hands. If I could bring back those epic memories - Frost Mage/slows/Crowd control/ survivability ... ultimate nostalgia trip :o How unique can you get on this game..?

Pancaking people with Gavel of Haima is so satisfying

I love all the magic and incantations in this game. The uniqueness off them all, and especially how good they are. Such a great shift from DS3 where the magic was just plain bad.

Seeing a guy using a splitleaf weaponart quit out is like having a drink with an old friend.

Frostbite seems really good since it lowers damage reduction. That's a straight percent increase to damage.

I’m pretty late to the party, but as a player who loves and mains mage builds, I would recommend Lusats staff as it largely boosts damage at the cost of consuming more FP, and for talismans graven mass is good for more damage and Radagons icon for faster spell casting. In terms of fashion you’re doing very well!

there is actually a faith version of the magic hammer but is a great sword, pretty cool.

Lusat's Glintstone Staff boosts sorceries at the cost of more FP but it has amazing scaling too. Theres a crystal one that boosts casting speed at the cost of more FP too. Then Rennala's boosts moon sorceries.

I'm glad that alot of things that were in the rest of the games are amazing in elden ring like bleed finally has a chance to shine amongst other things pvp is really fun if anyone gets the chance give the bloody helice a try it's a pretty fun weapon it's found in writheblood ruins in the Altus plateau

Seeing your +12 flasks was terrifying, I just beat the game with +5 I had no idea you could get so many

Some spells and weapons need some balancing, but the combat feels amazing with the amount of moves you can have

The spell he spammed that made him gold was and ash of war for shields that makes you immune to all manner of damage when timed right

Hey chase you could try to shoot a glint stone comet fright after the first hammer as it comes out quick while being hard to see

Someone mentioned it before, but you could powerstance some swords or something and put two different ashes of war, and swap the weapons without menuing mid fight. Then they can’t catch a bead on what ash of war you’re going to use. To keep in line with this video I’d use two frostbite ashes of war. I think it sounds like a fun idea, 30-35 endurance to powerstance with decent armor, 20-26 vigor, and then the rest can go in damage and a little fp to use ashes of war.
