Only way I have seen to consistently beat Chase is to let gravity do it for you. Most of his defeats have been him falling from somewhere.

The Rakshasa set doesn’t actually debuff you it just has a lower damage negation for its weight class the nights cavalry set for comparison has the same weight but more negation Edit: reworded it

@@mjay6245 Spark aromatic weapon, its AoW can oneshot players and 2 shot some bosses with minimal set-up. The trick is to aim the blasts to all hit the same spot which the blue wasn’t doing correctly.

Great video, I really enjoy learning from your videos on what to watch out for when my wife and I try to fend off invaders as we progress. Could you talk about some weaknesses or good ways to counter the builds you demonstrate as you make everything look unstoppable.

Hell yea. I hope to see some of the hand to hand weapons soon, as they can be hidden under armor and the aow is surprisingly good.

I would love to see your take on a storm blade build around level 138 utilizing the new divine beast helm and talisman, i’ve been loving it myself but I’m sure you’d make a way better build than I did. Chase can you do a one-shot build with Bayles tyranny and the rock heart + dragon communion seal? Been doing it in pvp and it’s so funny and effective

You seriously need to make a video about the backhand blades, they're so flashy i love them!

My latest build has been Captain Marika, with the main damage being the Smithscript Shield. It has a delay before quickly flying at the enemy with great tracking, costs only 3fp and a little stam, and can be buffed with the smithing talisman and shard of Alexander. I run it in left hand with Danes footwork in the right in case someone’s too close, buffing it more with things like howl of shabriri/golden vow etc. It has deceptive range too, and can easily roll catch people who try to spam roll to dodge it. I’ve also seen it easily hit bosses for anywhere from 1k-3k per throw consistently. You also get the leeway of it being super light, so I can rock heavy armor and bull goat talisman and sit at like 80poise most of the time lol

been using this aow on a bleed great katana and it’s super fun with all the pokes, and having blind spot backhands too means you just have an unstoppable combo

I really want to see what you do with the crucible feather talisman. I tried it in arena and its awesome, you can react backstep a lot and backstep attacks can be pretty sweet. IDK if what it would be like in invasions though.

Chase you should do some Seamless co-op invasions. It's really fun since you can use spirit summons and do pretty much everything the host can do. And in my experience I've found the latency to be so good for every invasion I've had.

I’d really like to see you use a storm build with the lion warrior set. Seems interesting and the ash has awesome visuals. I’ve wiped out trios at once with the storm ash of war on the horned greatsword.

Chase that one is sword of darkness. You can make sword of light and sword of darkness from their respective altars, both made from stone sheathed sword. Would be cool to see them paired together in a video if you have 2 stone sheathed swords.

You should try the smithscript cirque out. With one of the pure elemental scalings they do really good damage and the throwing attacks catch a surprising amount of people by surprise. Also the running lights have amazing chase down potential

Use great katana with the overhead stance. I found a new mixup where by hold the stance and blocking for a short time appears like the release of the weapon art.

there's also the new crucible ash of war with twinblades, if you buffed it with bloodflame or grease. I tend to overshoot with it though. also note that apparently, the death eyes in scorpion catacombs do not affect invaders. I am very sorry for that poor host and his team.

@ChaseTheBro Have you messed with Nanaya's torch and buildup buffs on a right-hand weapon (e.g., Death Blight build up on the shotel buff)? Apparently, the torche's AoW will apply the buildup of whatever buff is on the righthand (or at least it seems to work with eclipse shotel, bloodflame blade, and frost build-up from chilling mist buff)

Every fight is just "I think I won that trade."

hey chase, I had a build theory but am not good enough at PvP to prove if it's good or not I wanted to suggest using the Blinkbolt ash of war on the Iron Cleaver; the charged heavy attack can be done immediately as the blinkbolt skill ends, and the skill itself does damage and stagger, has s, and covers a lot of distance. I have a hunch this could be an insane chase build (pun intended)

Hey Chase I was doing some co-op today with randoms and I found the Flowerstone Gavel to be really fun in PvE, not sure how it would translate to PvP but I would love a video about it because I am just a huge fan of that weapon in general.

I use this, but with great katana occult for bleed set up. White mask and blood lord exhaultation. Rotten wing and two handed talisman or green turtle or shard of Alexander Wakizashi off hand for shriek of sorrow, of course golden vow and flame grant me strength, Though I can hardly have time to cast them in pvp, I have other talismans to swap to
