Glad to see you do elden videos. It’s a great game but I’ve had a surprising amount of friends struggle pretty hard with it. I help them out as much as I can but it’s cool to see videos that aren’t just “ here’s how to cheese the boss”.

only correction is that the great stars is not a colossal weapon but a Warhammer, or a strike equivalent to greatswords/curved greatswords, they all kinda share the same speed and range

The final hit even launches her in air, it fucks her up good. Amazing ash of war for how little FP it uses. You don't have to channel and can just use it once for 7 fp.

Is it just me or is it incredibly useless against her now

holy s**t! Totally works! I've been fighting Malenia for days (using blood river/corpse piler + uchitanga). Switched to Great Stars + blood grease + Prelate's Charge Ash Of War and killed her on the first attempt. It's not even fully upgraded (+24 though).

I didn’t even know there were any ashes of war you could use in tandem with an affinity enchantment at the same time

Should I upgrade my Arcane? If no, can you recommend a Stat for level 150?

i would love if these build guides also included how to counter said builds.

it wont let me use the bloodflame blade and i have all the sats recommend but higer

Are the damage items really necessary though? I mean the mask, the bleed proc talisman, shard of alexander, rotten insignia, they all seem to not be useful here. Most of the damage seems to just come from the actual blood loss proc. The actual weapon skill seemed to do like 7? damage per hit? Thats not even 1% of the total damage. Am I missing something or are those small damage hits something else?

Yea seems to only work with the blood buildup otherwise it’s mainly for staggering, the hit at beginning and end will do most damage and the fire left behind does descent damage if they walk into it but it’s behind you so not as useful sometimes but it does does increase with strength upgrade so maybe it just needs really high strength for those ticks to go up idk

Hey tyr, can you try making a viable stealth build for Elden ring? I’m yet to see one but knowing your skill at minmaxing I reckon you’d find it a cakewalk

super late to this, get the concealing veil talisman and whatever long ranged projectiles and thats all you need

Does anyone know how to turn the great stars into quality stars? If I had that charge to the weapon it turns into fire stars but not quality....please do let me know*-*

Did they patch blood flame blade? Don't seem to be able to apply it to the Great Star.

Go to the smith or a grace and instead of fire use “quality” for ash of war when applying prelate fire ash of war. They must of patched it where you can’t add blood flame if it already has fire affinity thru the ash of war already.

this was supposedly patched in 1.05, anybody test since then?

I discovered this combo on my own and was so suprised how quickly you can kill somebody. I traded it to my low level invasion character and it is so op.

Is this mostly just for pvp?

Sort of, it is very effective against certain bosses. So long as they don’t resist fire or bleed

I can see myself effortlessly stopping this with sorceries before he gets anywhere near me.

Yeah… at that level literally anything can be extremely strong.

Level does not affect anything last a certain point, there are soft caps and hard caps, a level 713 (max level) with 99 in a damage skill (let’s say faith for example) might have 1-5% more damage than a level 150 who has 80 in faith. Also this synergisation doesn’t scale off of anything as I said in the video
