I've never really played a Souls game before this one, but I picked it up and I've been really enjoying it! I'm very bad at it, but luckily when you're stuck on a boss you can just run back to the open world and level up some more. Also I'm jealous that you skipped the first boss, I was stuck on that dude for like 5 hours ugh. I honestly don't know if I'll be able to like, *beat* this game, but I'm really enjoying the exploration and open world. The difficulty hasn't been too tough for me, luckily I got into Monster Hunter last year which kind of prepared me for this game. Great vid, now I'm gonna go play more now too haha

Yeah, I found it a lot harder to grind levels when I was stuck on a boss in Demon's Souls. The open world here really simplifies that. That's awesome that you're liking the game! (Also I finally found the first boss and it didn't take me too many tries. 99% sure it was because I was over-leveled from everything else I did beforehand though.)

I loved Bloodborne and Sekiro, so I was kinda bummed to see a return to a Dark Souls 4. But Elden Ring rules, I'm 35 hours in and absolutely love it, too. 3 lords down, and it keeps feeling fresh all the way through.

Nice video man, I finally beat DKC after having played the game for the majority of my life, partially thanks to your review. I might get Elden Ring down the road, what you’ve said made me interested into it’s open world aspect being comparable to BOTW. Also I followed your twitter account which my profile should be fairly obvious.

So I'm about 35 hours in, I've only done 1 main dungeon and boss. But trust me, you haven't even seen a sliver of what this game has yet and I'm so excited for you to experience it. I thought I had a rough idea of how big it was judging from the map. Wrong. It's even bigger and more dense than I could have ever imagined. Hands down the best game I've ever played. I fuckin hate open world games. I honestly despise most of them aside from Elden ring and botw.

Souls tip in general if you're fighting a huge boss or enemy you're better of not locking on. Same thing if you're fighting a large group, lock on is great for single target fighting or aiming spells and arrows. Just know it's not always beneficial

They should at least give you the option to Mark the map where the people is at I was going to buy but luckily I was looking up stuff on this game I preorder Final Fantasy stranger Paradise I can't wait to dig into that yeah I'm skipping Elden ring not listed come out with an update where you can Mark where your NPCs is at so at least I can finish the missions that I'm doing it's real easy to lose track people setting if you don't remember or write stuff down it's going to be hard to track them down with a big open-world I don't like that

It will certanly change the way games will be for the next few years :)

If I'm doing a side mission they should pop up on the map after I'm finished their side mission they should at least give you an option to mark your spot I don't like that I'm going to skip this one especially if you got a big open world

I was going to buy this game but I'm not excited about it from what I heard you can lose NPCs if you don't remember what spot that therein you have to write everything down that's just too much

The world looks beautiful looks like it is a good game just some stuff that needs to be added for me I don't want hand-holding that's kind of like that but it would be nice and not lose your NPCs when you're doing a mission and not have to write stuff down that's a big turn-off for me

Yes it's good to get lost in the open-world doing other missions besides your main objective my biggest problem with the Elden ring is not the difficulty is losing NPC's because I heard that that will happen a lot because there's no Matt markers you can't Mark the mad to me that's a big turn-off
