I love the guardian swordspear. Dual wield it with a seal in the left hand second weapon slot for lightning damage for a well rounded Dex/Faith build. The left spear either with ice spear or spectral lance to stance break. Beautiful 👌

I made this cool Faith/Powerstance Katana PvE build for NG+. All you need is high Faith & 2 Nagakibas. With 60-80 Faith you can use the strongest Incantations & the faith scales well with Flame Art on the Nagakiba. Buffs you can use are Golden Vow, FGMS & Flaming Strike. Flaming strike would be your main hand ash. For your off hand, Pierced Fang, unsheathe, double slash, or another flaming strike are all good options. Incantations to use are Lightning Spear, Erdtree Heal, Fortisax LS, Giantsflame TT, FFUT, Burn O Flame, ADLS. You can use just the Erdtree seal all game but I highly suggest to also use the Giants seal & the gravel stone seal when facing Radagon & Elden Beast. Also use Flame & lightning cracked tear. Talisman are GodFrey Icon, Flocks Canvas, Millicent Prothesis & any sword insignia. Lastly stats are optimized for 150 & beyond Vigor: 50-60 Mind: 30-50 Endurance: 30-50 Strength: 18 Dexterity: 22 Intel: lowest as possible Faith: 60-80 Arcane: 10 Bonus: 51 poise is a must. Wear whatever looks cool or wear Zamor mask, Ronin chest armor, scaled gauntlets & Bullsgoat greaves

This is a really great build compilation. I noticed that you put more points on Vigor compared to your builds last year. This is great for survivability but I still prefer keeping Vigor at 50 and moving that 10 extra points to my main weapon stat instead.

I just do it now because I caved to the “60 vigor” comments haha 😂 Apparently 50 isn’t enough for a lot of players. I’m usually fine with 50 though. Glad you liked the video hopefully it was informative. 🤘

@@TheKingofRedLightning Having more Vigor would be ideal for PvP I guess. I recently noticed that I get summoned more on my level 125 character compared to my level 150 ones so maybe you can try making level 125 builds.

@@henta.i.3838 I’m thinking about doing that soon. Yeah 3 metas for PvP I know of: 80, 125 & max is 150. The level 80 meta is even becoming more popular. Less OP stuff I suppose, haven’t really done PvP in a few months. Co-op is fun though. 🤘

@@henta.i.3838 you can take the 2 points out, could’ve been by mistake or by using various builds with the same stats. I usually go with the 18 tho to dual wield.

I usually watch build videos from a lot of different sources. I’ve never commented, but I do have to say I enjoy your videos very much. I was running another build you suggested (twinblades) and I think I’m gonna finally try out the scavenger swords or katanas.. btw are the scavenger swords really better than Beastman swords?

Thank you! And that depends. At high levels both the Beastmen & bandits will beat the scavengers. But if you plan on doing PvP or staying in the 125-150 range, scavengers are best imo because you don’t have to split stats. And the occult damage & scaling is solid. 🤘

Two things I'd like to add: - In a Greatsword build you can go Frost instead of Heavy without losing much AR and getting a great burst of damage with how fast you proc frostbite (algo the blue/red dagger talisman is great to use if you are taking it slow and killing everything) - Spear Talisman is goated. You ocasionally get 50% increased damage on some hits against bosses even if you are not looking for counters. I like it every build that majorly uses a pierce attack (spears, zweihander R2, Giant Hunt, Rusted Anchor) and always grab it to use against the Snek boi

I've been using the Greatsword STR build for my first playthrough it is really strong and I don't struggle at all but it started to get boring. Any tips to what I should transition into? Still want to keep it mostly melee.

It depends there’s a lot of builds to try. For strength Earthshaker & Giant Hunt are fun and good. Star Fists in heavy affinity are also entertaining to use. 🤘

How are you getting these stats on the double slash build? Or did I just fuck up by starting as the Samurai? Is STR actually 20 or does the sheet show the 2h amount? I can only hit 55, 25, 25, 20, 65, 10, 20 and 9 on my 150 character for some reason and idk why. But I’m definitely overlooking something. Don’t want to over level STr and have to respec again

For Blasphemous Blade PvE, I use Golden Vow and Howl of Shabriri while equipping the Black Dumpling for the Howl, switch to Mushroom Crown with Roped Fetid Pot, then switching to Albinauric Helm for the Elden Bling. Is Flame Grant Me Strength better than Howl of Shabriri for the Blasphemous Blade? (Both with and without Black Dumpling Helm)

Dumpling with howl is more damage overall but as you know it takes longer to proc. You could even add in seppiku to your build as well with just 1 change in your talisman slot

And yes, I also use Bloody Uchigatana Seppuku, I'm just too lazy to type otherwise my inner Frenzied Flame borderline OCD-ness will kick in and overdo everything. And also Darkmoon Greatsword just in case there are random fire immune man-serpents and to keep in line with GRRM's A Song of Ice and Fire. ^ See.. Cheers

Absolutely amazing video! Im only 60 hours in running pure strength build, but i just got to 60 strength, so might get some points to faith to get those buffs. Edit: Own both blasphemous blade and dark moon greatsword, so might reroll to use the first one. How would you redistribute stats?

@@HKSaratov it is flat yep. I only have 15 faith, it shows 25 because of the tear (levels will add up to 160). You need 15 for FGMS, 25 for Golden Vow (the incantation is better than the ash version by 5% and lasts way longer).

Strength blood builds puts dex to shame imo. Get the Guts sword, slap braggarts roar with blood affinity on that bish, roar/axe/blood exultation/great dragoncrest talismans and good poise armor. (Scaled works fine) you WILL proc blood in one to two hits while still having insane AR Plus you're also built to use the Marais sword for bleed immunes

Strength/Bleed is nasty. I like it more than dex bleed since it proc bleed in 2 hits PLUS you get the crazy damage from the strength. I know you get crazy damage from jump attacks with the dex builds but I hate constantly jumping. Plus you get staggers very easy

why put occult affinity on scavenger swords, doesnt bleed affinity do more damage?

Nope not on the scavengers. Blood you lose physical damage for more bleed. But on occult you can keep your damage while still getting solid bleed build up. Works well on any weapon with innate bleed. 🤘You also don’t have to split your stats.

So if I want to build towards the dark moon greatsword what’s the best starting class to pick and what should I do mostly during the leveling process till I can even get that weapon? I’m recently starting over and want to min max as much as possible and use that OP weapon later but also have some versatility with other things I can swap in here and there.

Astrologer for sure. And early game if you can cheese the night bird in Caelid you can get Death’s Poker. The ash is all intelligence.

They have lower int obviously but even for just the dark moon I need 16 strength and 11 dex and the astrologer starts with a lot less of each compared to vagabond. Just don’t want to waste points I probably shouldn’t care as much about it.

@@52weekproject it doesn’t matter too much tbh. Because you’ll need high INT & 16 strength anyways, although only 12 to two hand the Darkmoon Greatsword. Either one works 👍

I know it's hard, but are there any op build without any kind of magic? The most important without Talismans, without buffs

Without talismans or buffs? Probably not. They make up most of the damage. Bleed would still be good but not nearly as good.

I honestly have difficulty seeing the value of the Ritual Sword/Shield talismans when a lot of builds don't do any life regen buffs. I find taking damage in this game is a frequent thing, so to be constantly worried about keeping max health just to keep a good def/offense buff to be stressful.

That depends and can be true for melee builds. For mages it helps a lot and you’re going to get hit less often. Ritual shield just stops you from taking substantial damage from the first time you get hit, and after you heal.

Warrior goes well with bleed/dex builds. You start out with two curved swords, which is one of the main weapon styles you can spec into and master. It’s the guy in blueish armor and a hat with white hair on it. Jumping L1 and running L1 are your main attacks since they have a lot of quick hits built into them. If you get bored of the two curved swords you could try Bloodhounds Fang without having to reapecc. It’s a 2h sword with a unique dodge attack special. I also started playing recently and had the same idea as you. Hope this helps. There’s a lot more to it ofc, but this should set you up well.

Sure is. Very useful for big targets. Fire Giant too even with his 40% holy resistance.

GUTS Greatsword Build with LC is a really easy mod in ER. Just kills and stuns everything on its way. 😅

Graven school/mass talismans enhance sorceries, though that bonus is 4-8% compared to the 12% from the scorpion charm and the charm is bonus to all magic dmg against the gravens' boost only to sorceries. It depends on the int build

I’m new to Elden ring can you show builds for beginners that and lead into the op builds for late game………….. I started with a wrech because I thought it to be the best, my brother tried helping me to get sword of night and flame and it’s ……….. OK but that requires faith/ intellect I’m at the point where I feel It’s not enough or I’m building my character wrong since you need to know what you want( or maybe I picked to wrong starting character) I would have thought of a dexterity build but the game looks to be extra long/tedious without all the magic😭…………… no my brother helped me get some rot breath from killing a dragon(( I’m only lvl 54 )) I feel like I’m everywhere and nowhere Because I clearly don’t know what I’m doing🤦🏻‍♂️ Please help me I wish to be worthy🙏🏻

It’s good but it depends on level. They’re better at 160+ when you can start splitting stats better. For 125/150 metas I still recommend scavengers. Relative damage + only level arcane instead of splitting Str/Arc or Dex/Arc. 🤘

when i do the exact same stat distribution as you i end up with 10 less vigor at level 150 how come ?

I play PvP here and there but for the most part, I don’t like it that much in ER. Dark souls 3 PvP way back when I was more into. Maybe after DLC, we’ll see.

I might be doing something wrong, because I have that bleed build with one Scavenger's Occult Curved Sword with Seppuku a Bandit Curved Sword with frostbite or mist whatever you want to call it plus those talismans mask and so on and I don't do half that damage

That’s because you’re doing frost & bleed. Bleed/bleed is more OP/Higher damage. 🤘
