Dude same I bought it bc I been seeing a bunch of videos n stuff everywhere like a month ago. Never played dark souls was never really interested in it , thought the game was too hard but once I learned how to play I love it . Once I beat this gonna play the other dark soul games. Just got elden ring less than a month ago already got godrick renalla and radahn down bunch of the dragons regular and draconic sentinel etc. Strength build on a confessor bc I didn't know what to pick n I heard broadsword is a good weapon so I went with it. Level 70 with most points into vigor strength and some dex n arc to wield reduvia 🤣

They’re Welsh pronunciations. ALOT of the characters in Elden ring have welsh accents. In Welsh the letter ‘A’ is most commonly pronounced ‘Ah’ and the ‘DD’ is pronounced ‘TH’ and similarly the ‘LL’ in most situations is reminiscent of ‘SH’ but sounds more snake-like.

I only noticed this after I had defeated three of them, so it may be able to identify their locations prior to entering evergaol. Either way, that just really stood out to me as an easily missed and finely tuned microdetail.

I would just like to say that the ability to rebuild your character after defeating renalla was perfect for me as a new player. Up to that point I was just building my character around whatever weapon I found so it was all over the place. I wanted to start out as a caster/melee but ended up putting a lot into dex and strength just because those were the first good weapons I found. It was nice to be able to rebuild to what I wanted after I figured out how builds even worked.

That's an interesting ideia that would honor Miura's legacy, why not really make the actual berserker armor in game in a future DLC? Something with ashes of war that would make you more powerful with hiperarmor but raise your madness level the more damage you deal. It would be a nice anti-gank but not too overpowered at the same time.

Go take a peep at some photos of the golden age sword and notice the design of the hilt, rivets, the tang in the blade and then do a comparison with the dragonslayer and you'll see the shape and tapers are different. The dragonslayer is almost a flat slab compared to the golden age sword (Guts actually uses around 7 or 8 different sword styles throughout the golden age but the most iconic is what this games greatsword is modeled after)
