@@courageogbebor493 congrats on your new EN! Enjoy it in good health! I would also suggest the stereo adjustments. I also recently discovered moving the speaker position more rearward makes music sound much cleaner and less distorted.

Ok, I pulled the trigger on the EN. My guess is my infotainment is out of date, but I'm about to learn either way!

Extended rear camera is good when pulling out of garage , backed in, and hitting remote control garage door closer I don’t have to stop to see if garage door actually goes all the way down. I can just look at camera view in display. Very conviennent.

What and you don’t have a rear view mirror?

It’s a great car. I can’t believe you can get a car like that for the price. I know people complain about some of the cheap interior materials, but my EVO 8 has 2003 Lancer interior parts so it’s a step up for me.

Absolutely! It’s always have economy car roots, but the amount of upgrades and niceties makes it feel special.

What wireless dongle do you use for Android auto and Apple CarPlay ?

I have a 2023 Elantra Premium equipped with an 8-inch standard-class gen 5 system. Can I replace it with a standard-class gen 5W without any issues?

I was driving on the freeway in my 23 Elantra n and was lane changing and my brakes automatically applied. Which setting would’ve caused this? There was probably another vehicle near me but it was not a close call by any means. It was actually the scariest thing of my life.

Oh man that’s crazy. The only things I can think of are either the collision mitigation or blind spot mitigation. I’ve personally never had that happen before.

Good video, but you don’t have the 2023 update. I only noticed a few differences. My 23 has a different radio interface, also my sounds of nature also seems to have a different selection (from what I remember). But now I’m going to have to go through all my settings again.

Thanks! Yes, after I made the video I remembered there was an update to the radio interface. It was an update offered to 2022 models but I chose not to do it because I like the tubes looking graphics used on the initial version. I believe it also reverses the steering wheel controls up/down button operation, which is a weird quark for the 2022 version. I didn’t know about a change in Sounds of Nature. Definitely let me know what yours offers so I can include it in a possible follow up video. 🙏🏻 for the info!

@@Courtesyflush52 I don’t ever use the wireless charging pad. It’s very slow and I have a very think case on my phone. I have a Quad Lock case and nub where the “Death Star” round graphic is to the left of the gauges. I put my phone there and if I need to charge it I plug it in from there to the USB. The CarPlay unit is tiny so it just sits behind the charging pad. Can barely see it.

@@n-power-automotive *No bro, i figured it out, i got an N Line when i thought it was an N. So bro, i got screwed when i bought this car. I had no idea there was 2 "n"'s . N line and N. I thought they was the same. Completely thought i bought the N. I mean, its messed up. I need Hyundai to just make one model with "N", so there is never a situation where someone buys the wrong "n". I mean i seen th3 "N" on the steering wheel. I mean come one hyundai. If they really wanted to make it 100% no confusion, they should of not put the "N" on steering wheel. There was "N" on automatic shifter knob. One "N" car is the fix to this problem. Thats like if Nissan made a "Z Line" next to the Nissan Z. Like even Nissan wasnt stupid enough to cause problems by doing that. Yet nobody at Hyundai had the same idea. I fully understand the concept though, giving customers a car like there top of the line sport model the "N" but for cheaper and not so hardcore racing, for a daily driver that is sporty. But at the very least, make sure to put "N Line" on all the badging locations . Not just the outside of car. But that N on steering wheel should of had "Line" next to it and the "N" on the shift knob should of been "N Line". But to blatantly just put "N" on steering wheel and "N" on shift knob. Do you see how someone would just think there buying an "N", and the kicker to why i thought i was buying an N also is they charged me the same price if not more then a N. So i paid N price for a N Line. So thats why i didn't question anything. Because i knew the N line was under 30k. And that the N was above 30k. So i got screwed bro. I never going to buy Hyundai again. Now i got a $47k debt in total with tax and interest for a $28k car. But with tax and interest on the $28k would of really been i estimate $37k total. So i really got screwed by $10k. Wow, now im stuck though with it. Cuz it was past the 3 days when i finally figured out whats up.

@@johndoe3485 yikes. Sorry to hear you thought you were getting one car when you got another.y advice is next time do a little more research before buying. I can see the confusion but at the same time there’s very distinctive differences between the N and N Line that should have clued you in. Now, if you were verbally told by the dealer that it was an N and not an N Line then maybe you have evidence to seek a lawsuit. The N Line is still a great car.

💯 agree. I don’t get why they didn’t give the Ns wireless connectivity. The wireless dongle I bought works pretty good though, so it shouldn’t be a deal breaker IMO.

this is a bit excessive and gimmicky. They should of spent more time making the interior nicer instead of all this extra bullshit that just gives the car more issues to have down the road
