When Eitan took his daughters to the bomb shelter on Saturday morning, he was not particularly worried. But when the sirens did not stop, and messages were received about terrorists infiltrating the kibbutz, he locked the doors and the door of the bomb shelter. The terrorists entered his house and without saying a word poured gasoline and set the house on fire. Eitan and his family were locked in the bomb shelter. while the fire raged around them. They had almost given up when the rescuers arrived in the evening. Later Eitan returned to the scene and found that the kibbutz and his house had been destroyed.
