EIRENE: Coloring Family pt. 1
Hello friends!
It was my intention to livestream the whole coloring of this background, as I haven't shown you or even colored a background like this before.. but tehnology wasn't my friend. Then I tried to film the rest as a speedcoloring, but it just wouldn't work out.
I asked on Instagram if I should still post this and so many said yes, so here it is :)
Book: Eirene by Nicholas F. Chandrawienata

Thank you so much! Nicholas' books are just amazing! It's very obvious that this one wasn't made with the intention for it to be a coloring book. But I think he should have thought about it :P
Looking fab Katrine. I’m waiting on my books arriving can’t wait 😊

That is a gorgeous background, am looking forward to seeing you do more on that page. I’m on the fence as to whether or not I should get that book. The paper quality has me concerned, but I like what your doing with it. Is the paper as bad as create space paper? 😊❤️

Thank you so much! Part 2 with a lot of gold coloring will be up soon :) I think this paper is way, way worse than the crate space paper. It's totally different. It can be worked on, but it's not really a joy.

AlwaysColoring , thank you so much for the info, I get easily frustrated with poor quality paper, so I think I will pass on that book. I have Fantasia and Serene and those are good. Thank you for your input and all the hard work you put into your channel. It’s appreciated 😊❤️

I easily get frustrated with poor quality paper too.. but this paper is just so strange! I have no other book with paper like it. You're so welcome and thank you for the sweet words
Hello, I was just thinking about the quality of the paper in that book, it's such a pity as the art work is stunning. I suppose you could print it out on better paper seeing that it is such a complicated drawing . I should imagine that like all your other coloured pictures you would spend hours on it and do an amazing job and would want to keep it for posterity.Thank you for sharing your work, Love it .

Hey it sure is a pity, but as I've commented before. It isn't a coloring book, it's an art book :) Also I like my pictures to be together in the books and I don't own a printer ;)
This background is gorgeous! Could you give the number of the prisma used please....i don t inderstand very well the name...black cherry or mulberry? Thank you so much for this interesting video!

Thank you! I don't have the pencils with me at the moment, so I can only give you the names as I remember them. Black Raspberry, Raspberry, Nectar, Peach and Light Peach :)
Where can I buy this book at?
Do you think the pencils are the problem with this paper or is the paper the problem?

Hmm maybe I can find his email and the information for you.. just a second :)
When your Prismas act up and are breaking heat them up in s heating pad and they will meld together. They are wax based. If dropped and cold they shatter. The cores are not glued in the way Polychromous are

I know.. The Prismacolors are such bad quality that way, which is my I store them in my most secure pencil cases.. but I have no idea how they were handled while in shipping :/
Use a heat pad to mend the pencils, it is not as intense as the microwave which i have seen people say is not a good idea.

If the paper is so bad why don't you print it out on a better paper before colouring?

What type of paper would you do this on? I've tried just basic computer printer paper but I've noticed the pencils some times wreck the paper
