TUTORIAL: How I do my color swatches
Hello friends!
Many of you have requested me to show you exactly how I do my color swatches, so here you go! I will do a flip through of my swatch book(s) soon. Promise!

Excellent idea! This is the one I'll be using from now on. As a tip though is to flip the 3rd and 4th column. That way you can more easily compare your swatches with the coloring you've done on your page ☺️

I luv my swatch books, I use duo tang style books and put my swatch pages into sheet protectors, then I can move them around as needed. And I have a Dry Mediums book for all my pencils, markers, pens, soft chalk pastels etc. And a Wet Mediums book for all my watercolors, gelatos, paints, pastels etc. I would be lost without them! Such a useful reference tool. 👏🏼😊❤️🌹

I always hate my colored charts because they looked awful and I am a perfectionist and I would get so pissec , I will try this tomorrow , hopefully it will work

Are these all Color pencils? I love this and think I am definitely going to use this, however, are you only doing pencil swatches or are you doing watercolor and other water-soluble pencils as well?

@@allaccordingtoplan5560 Yes, even pen and markers, etc. Lot of work but when you do a craft you just pull out your swatch pages/books to see which will give you the effect that you want. This STOPS the step in pulling everything out to decide. I just learned this and am in the process of How I want to do mine. I'm confused about WHERE they get the color name/number AND HOW to put the pencils in order to start the swatches.
