Thank You for watching. Q tron definitely has more controls, but MXR envelope filter is much more superior!

Just bought the Q-Tron for my guitar but it totally slipped my mind I could use it with my bass in the funk band I'm in! It isn't the best ever for bass but it's pretty damn good!

Everyone should try the bassball's with a good octave pedal it sounds awesome, I use mine with the boss super octave, try it!

Ι own a BassBalls since 2010. Probably the best choice ever for a low budget pedal. If you combine it with other quality high budget pedals like a good compressor and octaver, you dont need to buy an expensive filter envelope

do you get a volume jump with this pedal? I had the micro q tron but sold it because it had a big volume jump when engaged.

This version has a volume control so you can avoid any jumps.

If im gonna do any bass covers from Toe jam and Earl: panic on funkotron i better get one of these lol. Also it sounds like i could pull off flying frog brigades cosmic highway

Any low end loss on the Q-Tron?

​@ObraBass I've tried them all, including the Aguilar twin, apart from the bassballs, but I too settled on the MXR. They're sooo sensitive, so you really have to remember to set ya bass output and do not mess with it eh. You get to ya solo part, and ya filter break is all wrong.

I like the BassBalls better.

The BASS BALLS is nice but unweildly. Hit the bass a touch harder and it sounds like screeching quacks.

The motion of the camera (which looks like a filter) makes this impossible to watch :c
