EGYPT☀️PHILAE: ALL you want to know about the temples. (Private visit!)
I could have written "the temples of Philae" as there are in fact several. The monuments were built on the island over 600 years! The principle temple is dedicated to Isis. She is the goddess who protects women and children. It is the largest temple entirely dedicated to her in all of Egypt. It is also the last temple to remain open 5 centuries after the birth of chrisianity.

Thank you. have a nice day.
Well done!! thanks 👍
Temples located along the Nile River describe the sequence of events of the first rebirth in heaven. The temple of the island of Philae describes the beginning - conception of a celestial body for the soul of Osiris during the Sun's stay in the constellation Leo. The rebirth in the constellation of Taurus has ended, so Isis has bull horns on her head.
Wow! Thank you so much! I was there today, and my guide spoke for less than 10 minutes despite my interest. I specifically asked to see the emperors depicted as pharaohs, and he told me there weren't any.
What a great video Thank you 🙏

Wonderful, thank you!
My wife and I were just at this temple a few weeks ago. It was a deeply moving and powerfully transformative experience. Great video and presentation.

I've been fascinated with this temple complex for years (read many books etc.), but you've provided much more information than those books or other videos. So odd to see Roman Emperors as Pharaohs, and to see blank (i.e. never inscribed) cartouches. Apparently the Christians were hit-and-miss in their disfigurement of the wall reliefs; some walls have figures destroyed, while a few feet away there are figures that are intact! Here's where what we think of as "Ancient Egypt" had its final bow.
