For all those who are saying, "it's only an egg", consider their situation. They are asked to create a MasterChef worthy dish with an egg. It's really easy to overcomplicate things. Making egg the hero of your dish isn't that easy.

Marco is one of the most kindest but scariest judges ever in the master chef kitchen

Feel no shame in losing an egg challenge. It seems so simple yet making eggs correctly is one of the most challenging things to cook. That is unless you are a kid in my house then you will just eat what you were friggin given lol.

He didn't have enough water in his pot to use that technique, it cooled too quickly. It works but you gotta have that thermal mass to keep the temp more stable.

I love that Marco can be so intimidating with just being calm and silent. Gordon can be pretty intimidating with his demeanor and temper... but the scariest he ever gets is when he's calm and quiet.

marco: you made one easy but hard mistake to make when you made these eggs. you didn't............boil them..........with knorr chicken stock pot. would've made a world of difference.

Marco's definition of a perfect fried egg isn't one that's universally shared. In east Asian countries a perfect fried egg is crispy around the edges, which requires a hot pan.

MC US - this is garbage,disgusting and raw. You are wasting our time and everybody's time on this show. We are here to reach and judge u and u give us this crap. 'opens dustbin and shoves the food with the plates in" Marco - gotta be brutally honest..it's raw. What u shud have done is poured all your energy into make the steak a perfect medium rare and then focus on the side components later.

I cook. After soft boiling and poaching a good number of eggs, my lesson is: eggs vary from country to country, even vary in the same carton. The difference in size, origin, water, altitude etc will influence the cooking of an egg. For my country, which excellent eggs, even out of a market, I choose the sizes, and the small ones I boil for 5:45 . I get a soft boiled egg with a cooked white, and a runny yolk, how I like them. If I do the same with a bigger egg from the same carton, it will have a runny white. It´s quite an art.
