I love the big bad wolf too he's my favourite character from the efteling. The reason he is dressed so dapper is because he's trying to apear nicer than he actually is to fool the 7 goats and little red riding hood. The way the efteling characterises him is that he is a bad guy but he does have a heart sonewhere and he just wants to be included. He is mostly the comic relief.

Its always nice to see foreign visitors explore Efteling. And even though it’s not your first time, every visit is different. That makes it fun! I hope you enjoyed your stay! Greetings from an employee 😃

You see now why almost nobody in Holland ever takes a taxi. Public transport is usually perfect and taxi prices are ridiculously priced for short distances (and sometimes you get a extra ‘tourist price’ on top of regular price if they feel you are a easy target). Would’ve been nice if Efteling had a train stop :D

@@marktegrotenhuis De Efteling is zeer goed bereikbaar met het openbaar vervoer vanuit heel Nederland en België. Je kunt met de trein naar station Tilburg óf station ’s-Hertogenbosch. Vanaf deze stations rijden de buslijnen 300, 301, 800 en 801 naar de Efteling.

My husband and I traveled from the US to Europe (France) for the first time in September of this year and this vlog especially makes me want to go back immediately! It was so amazing to be able to take the train everywhere. We will add the Efteling to our list!

If you can book a hotel room (it includes entry to the park on all days of your stay). The other two hotels are even better imo. And don’t take a taxi in the Netherlands, the busses are great, cheaper, and easier

There is a direct bus line to Efteling from Tilbug station. Don’t take a taxi in The Netherlands, that is way more expensive and much more fuss

I’m a huge Efteling fan as a Dutchie😊 So sad that Spookslot left, but super excited since there will be a whole themed part of the park around the new ride. It will be a spooky ride based on Spookslot but different. It will also have a food stand etc. in the same theme!

28:52 Wasgij puzzles (jigsaw backwards) are very special puzzles. You dont puzzle what you see on the image, you puzzle what the people on the image are seeing, or in this case: the next scene (what is happening next). Really fun to do! Dreamflight is also my favourite attraction! Sadly it is now closed for maintenance, so I will be only visiting when its open again. Thank you for vlogging!

Fun fact: the efteling originally was just a forrest and a football(soccer) field. They started adding fairytales to the forrest and it started growing. In 1981 they added the python ride and it then officially became a themepark!

Next time, no need for a taxi, there is a bus straight to efteling from both Den Bosch and Tilburg. Will set you back about 4-5 euro's

Love to see you in Efteling, as I am a Dutchie😀I have never stayed in the hotel yet, but I have stayed in Bosrijk, which is a holiday park of the Efteling. It is absolutely beautiful! They have cottages, but I believe hotel rooms as well. The park is themed after a character named 'Klaas Vaak' (basically means Sandman, haha), and I think you would love it. It is in the middle of the forest and it has a small swimming pool as well. It's a 5/10 minutes walk to the main entrance of the park or you could take a free shuttle. Definitely recommend it for your next stay at Efteling!🙂

Those little houses/scenes are sold at Intratuin. That's a big garden center and one in particular has the biggest Christmas show in the Netherlands with all of these houses and other christmas/winter scenes.

So lovely to see you enjoy the park. Just a little fact: the mystery puzzle is you see the image on the front but it's not what you actually puzzle, you either puzzle the future, the view from someone else's POV or just something else related but not identical to the picture. They're really fun but tricky puzzles since you have no real reference 😂😂 Really looking forward to seeing your upcoming vlogs 😊

I went the last day of winter Efteling. 4th of March. Wierd seeing all the Christmas stuff in March haha. It was the first day Dreamflight was back up though 🥳 I found you couple weeks ago and watched so many vlogs of you now. Very fun and informative. Thanks Sam

The bus is indeed a better deal than taxis in the Netherlands. If you are travelling from Amsterdam, Antwerp or Bruxelles there is also a bus line ran by Flixbus that takes you to the Efteling. I believe it only once a day on certain day though, but on decent times, so you could even make it a day trip while staying in Amsterdam, Antwerp or Bruxelles.

Hahaha..' mens' means human in Dutch. the game is called something like ..human, chill and don't be bothered or angry'. As you can throw the other players off the board if the dice you roll place you on their spot ;-) Next time around you should try Efteling resort Bosrijk. Super cute houses and you enter through the proper entrance (the house of 5 senses)

I'm from the Netherlands. And I love how you try to talk Dutch and like us. The long neck guy is literally called long neck but in Dutch Lang Nek. Haha. And I understand that you don't like the red nose attraction. I think they renovated it or changed it. Because of that some scenes are not really okay. That's also why they changed the cannibal ride.

OMG. I just noticed that the mugs are lefthander-friendly! Usually we just the blank "backside" of the mug. Must get one when I go there.

Caro in the Efteling is a good live show. I've seen it multiple times. They tell a story using the Efteling theme and music. No language is used in the show. It does not run everyday and it is an up-charge. Definitely worth the price you pay.

for your next visit you can buy a combined ticket that includes a day return from any train station to tilburg, the bus to the park and the ticket for the park it’s 52 euros i think so definitely worth it. the dutch train company named NS sells them.

A dutch taxi got a blue licence plate. There is no taxi plate on top of the car.

Good reminder to never take a taxi in the Netherlands. Public transportation will take you anywhere. I live in Tilburg and I've never noticed taxi's around the station, so wasn't surprised you couldn't find any. There is a bus that departs at Tilburg Station 6 times an hour that stops at the Efteling. It will take 25 minutes and costs you less than 3,50 euros. Next time you are not certain, ask anyone there, people will gladly guide you to the correct busses.

When you take the bus you don"t get out at the Efteling busstop. You go 1 stop further. It is called busstop "de horst" it is next to the hotel. You only have to cross the road.

Yeah, we go once every few weeks and sometimes we just go for the scenery. We're at the point where we say: we are not going to wait 20 minutes to get on Symbolica 😅 but Efteling is just a great place to wind down and enjoy the sights.

Not sure - are you American? If so, you can enlighten me.

There are OV taxi s , you can take them between 7,50 and 12 euros if a remember correctly . Other wise just take the bus . The apelsause is a tradtiional meal , Chicken, fries and apple sauce. . children would look forward to this . some items might look not fitting with other parts of the meal but actualy fit verry well.
