Ok. He may not be the “magician “ exactly at this point, but to say that he’s just like any other player is ludicrous. He just placed 3 rd in a one- Pocket tournament with over 400 entries And you know most of the best one pocket players in the World were entered. That had to just about exhaust him HE IS 69 YEARS OLD!! So he missed a couple of shots and you dis him. Shame on you. adios

Age doesn't matter in table tournament as long as the contestant champ has maintained his/her fine motor skills, visual acuity and mental alertness ( sensorimotor coordination).

I think everybody kind of gets the camera angle issue, don't sweat it man it's definitely not a problem at all. Your understanding of the game is what comes through so clearly, and beyond that just, I don't know, the intangibles, your communication style, the pacing and tone and everything, is just really effective and enjoyable. Just amazing commentary by Scott Frost, he became my favourite in this regard by far. Deep knowledge, keeps it interesting, quite a humble approach, everything I enjoy. Thanks! A bit of a strange match by Efren, but it's understandable in this situation, it's still unbelievable, how good he did in this Derby. I think he could still compete on the tour, even on matchroom... not winning tournaments of course against Filler, Shaw, Ko's, Biado, FSR, etc, but he could still compete, go through to the last 64-32, I think.

A shout out to Volk - Nobody expected this to be a match .

The side comment that Efren is like a Jason Shaw or Earl Strickland is uncalled for. Both Jason and Earl are excellent players but Efren i believe is a cut above these guys. Actually Earl "hates" to play against Efren because he cant just fool around with Efren and he got beat by Efren on many occasions. Lets keep it at that and just respect all these players

I like that you explain the shots, positions, options etc, but I believe you could use your advantage of being an "insider" and share some trivia on the players or the event. That would be something nice for players watching these games, since some of the plays are relatively obvious. Oh, and definitely another person in the booth would be fun!

That means he give opportunity the opponent to play on the table... rather than eating the opponent alive. Thats the reason why we dont see him break the rack too seriously.. Just play and have fun. These past years have been a very special time in two of the most challenging disciplines in sport. Golf, and pool/billiards have been blessed to have Woods and Efren Reyes to transcend there respective sports to take interest to another level. Unlike Woods, Efren remains visible and playing for all to see and admire. Efren’s demeanor and skills are not commonplace in sport ,in general, but in pool halls those attributes are not heard of.
