Whether you plan to buy Sonic X Shadow Generations or not, I would wait until the game is actually released and you can see actual footage of it before you make that ultimate decision. Don't let your biases get the better of you Addy. I know, all too well, what can happen if you do.

Yeah advertisement in general has a habit of doing that, just because they flash it in our face like a little child does not mean everyone is not that gullible to give in to temptation to buy such products. Glad you are one of the few people to recognize that Addy.😊

For a second there, I thought you were going to make more than the intro to a video. You clinched me, now where's the rest?

Well then, have I got news for you, I decided to buy this game not because of the trailer but because of leaked gameplay footage and screenshots that show that this game is both a) going to be an open zone, and b) has much better looking level design than anything from basically Generations onwards. Just search up Sonic x Shadow gameplay, and the footage comes up. I'm also more interested in Shadow's new abilities that were shown off in the trailer MUCH more than I am interested in the actual levels that are appearing. Plus, it appears as though this game COULD have been a fully stand alone title by it self. But all that said, I am still a BIT skeptical, if only because Sega's doing that stupid tier list thing again. Anyways, that's my two cents, I myself have most likely been affected by Sega's marketing and to be honest, I don't really care. Whatever the quality of the product on release day and when I actually pick up the controller, well that's just something I'm gonna have to live with. If you reduce all human psychological engagement to just that, then you'll live a very on-rails life, I think. Like yeah, what you said isn't wrong, but there's a reason things "look cool" to us, and a reason they don't. Understanding that is key to making good choices
