A lot of stations thankfully still use 37’s as pilot locos. I used to live about 2 miles from a station and at night you could hear the monsters GROWLING in the dark shunting stock! Superb👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

nice seeing the class 37s still on mainline,I saw class 37s on engineers trains around mid-late 90s and sometimes early 00s in dutch livery(grey with yellow strip along top of sides of locomotives.

I love the sound of those EE engines screaming as you cannot mistake that music that comes out of their engines as you can hear them before you see them coming from a distance away! one of the best and most successful locomotive ever built in the 1960s on British railways! we still got there magnificent pieces of British engineering still in use on our rail networks on heritage railways plus in the mainline! 105 still exist out of 327 that's a good result!!! Good video of these beasts in action 🎬 🥰😍🤩

good to see a few Yorkshire locations here and the first clip Outwood is where i live but i also work at Neville Hill Depot in Leeds and we get the NR 37s regular away for stabling but yer loved the video some good old 37 thrash indeed :)

That English Electric 190 Litre V12 sounds wonderful, but I personally think the big brother 264 Litre V16 Class 50 sounds slightly better. All built around a standard 16 Litre piston/cylinder, clever.

Class 37 is my all time favourite diesel locomotive

2 things stick out. Nothing looks better than a , Split box head code with doors !!! Also, what's in the Red container on the arse end of the flask train ?? Not seen anything else attached to them. Loco's and Flasks, that's it. Odd. I did notice a couple of whole trains of just the red containers. What's in them ??? Covid19 Vaccine !! Heres hoping. Great vid Banjo, stay safe mate. I quite agree I saw double headed 37.884 and 37463 at nuneaton on plat 2 on a fright liner plenty clagg
