I have just recently found you a week ago and I am loving your videos from Elizabethton, TN. I have to tell you that I am 72 and really just starting to quilt or rather piece. I am having a great time. I thought I had better start out on something small and simple, so I have done 3 wall hangings and working on a throw size all log cabin. I have so much to learn and not to many years to do it. I love to listen to you just talk too. I wish you and your family a wonderful holiday. My 96 year old aunt has moved in with me, so it is different for sure. God bless you...

You are so dang cute! Getting fired up to do some sewing today. Need to finish a fall leaves table runner that was supposed to be a birthday present that she will get late on Christmas. I'm also hoping to get enough gift cards to my local quilt shop (Sew Yeah in Las Vegas, you know those guys) to quilt my king size quilt for MY bed made from your Secret Stash line in Blush with an olive green for the background. It's just such beautiful fabric. thank you

An alternative to save fabric. Use a folded corner clipper to cut corners on base and cut the corner fabric from strips. These rulers clip with included seam allowance. Sew with scant 1/4 inch.

This has been wonderful. Can't wait forcmy pattern to arrive. I do have a question. I have a Janome 9450. Fabulous machine. But I am looking for a second Janome as a quick, workhorse for sewing. What Janome are you using in this video? Thank you, again for all you do. Have a blessed Christmas, and a very happy and healthy New Year. 🥰❤🎄🪡🧵

I have a janome m7 continental i absolutely love it it saves me time and thread because I don't have to trim away my threads it cuts after sewing it's a little pricey but I wanted something heavy-duty

@@gotyoubythezipper thank you. I LOVE my Janome 9450-pricey but worth it as I do quite a bit of quilting my own quilts. It too cuts the thread, and threads the needle. But best of all it tells when the bobbin is low. Have a blessed Christmas. 😍🪡🧵
