Trevor Hoffman, Mariano Rivera, even Eric Gane had an all time great entrance but, it takes a big market city for it to hit this big. Which I mean I don't watch baseball anymore but, plenty of guys do this still. Just most of the time people don't care unless you have the talent. Like Marino probably had the best one of my generation which Hoffman had one just as good. Just never got the play that Marino's did because he didn't play for the Yankees or Mets.

I was there last night to hear it live and it was an amazing moment. This doesn't really capture the electrifying vibe going through the entire stadium when they did this. Everyone was on their feet rocking, swaying, and chanting. Diaz struck out the first batter on three pitches and the place went completely nuts. You thought you were in a movie. I just turned to my friend and said "how did baseball come to this?" Definitely a great night to remember.

Lol I honestly gotta say it feels absolutely crazy to just know that when Diaz comes in the game is over. I’ve never had that feeling of trust with any of the Mets closers I’ve ever watched. Knowing that if you have the lead after the top of the 8th the game is over is a great feeling and I’m gonna relish it while I can.

Mannnnn I get the chills from watching this. When I played in school, I loved facing other teams’ nastiest pitchers because it was easier to lower expectations and have a fun at bat, but if I was leading off a 9th inning like this, I would have probably pooped my pants in fear hahaha

I have to admit, Diaz’s entrance is legendary. As a Dodger fan I almost don’t mind losing in a close out to Diaz after that entrance, yet I fear the day.
