My God... Mr. Petherbridge is so lovely. What an utterly wonderful actor and human being.
This man. Edward Petherbridge. Never heard of him until this week, now I realize he is the most amazing actor, person, being I have ever (digitally) encountered. Kind, lucid, intelligent, and drop dead gorgeous - even at 80 or whatever his age is.

What a lovely, lovely man he is. A wonderful actor with a fantastic career. I'm so sorry he wasn't able to play Lear, but so very glad he's recovered.
