Edmonton basketball player's story grabs attention of LeBron James
An Edmonton youth who can often be seen outside his home dribbling a basketball has grabbed the attention of people around North America, including his idol: LeBron James.
It started with Anthony Muobike's daily basketball practice - without a net - being noticed by a neighbour, who decided to make a Facebook post asking for help to get the teen a hoop. Neighbours banded together and Canadian Tire donated a hoop and basketball, with donations collected going towards a Sport Chek gift card.
Now, the teen is making an impression outside of his community with a private Toronto school offering him a chance to take part in a basketball program next year. And then he got something unexpected when the King himself, LeBron James, posted on Instagram words of encouragement. Sarah Komadina has the story.

good story but we have to think of it this way. If he wanted it, it should have been his parents to buy it for him, NOT others. funny that his mom lives in a decent house and can afford it but she cannot afford to buy it for her kid. I feel bad for the boy.
