The form of the maker looked like a grenade

Potential issues I see: The spoons don't actually look sturdy enough to use. I'd need to see evidence these things can stand up to normal eating. PFOAs are carcinogens, so ceramic is really the way to go, not 'nonstick coating.' Waste dough?

The kick starter page said it was unsuccessful, does that mean this isn't going to be coming to market? I think it's a really good idea and I would buy something like this assuming it's ~$50 or so.

Which kickstarter page? The one featured by national geographic did successfully raised enough money for that. They just have production problems due to the large demand, but many other kickerstarter projects have that problem as well and usually gets resolved after a few months.

This a real good idea, and if it is a little inconvenient I'll go out of my way five, ten minutes, I need to learn how to cook anyway, and this is one small step perhaps. Next up is packaging material there is a market for people who would gladly pay a few dollers extra, there are people who know a happy little sacrifice now will go along wat to persevere and improve this planet for the future. Because if we can't plan for a better future what is the point of anything?

+Sindhu Suresh , HI. You can use plain dough or puff pastry, there's nothing stopping you from getting creative with other alternative like pizza dough, cookie dough or even some type of cake or waffle mix.

Do you seriously not see how this could lead to a lot less waste, not to mention, think about this: rather than washing your utensils, you either eat or use them as compost. IMO this has the potential to be one of the next HUGE things. I can't wait until I start seeing these in packages like cup noodles, mac n cheese or small meals like that. I know the company that makes edible cutlery says shelf life is 3 years, that's impressive for a spoon/fork/knife you can eat!

It's a better alternative to plastic spoons / utensils which have polluted and damaged our planet greatly.

Looks like hand grenades on the inside of this rediculous machine. How about using a piece of bread as a spoon? Just saying...
