How to put the O-Clip on an Opinel knife and how to take it out.

I love this idea. I think it's great. The only reason I'm not getting one is because the clip costs more than the knife.

Is it only for no8?
Is there an easy way to get it to line up with the factory locking ring? They dont seem to turn together and its a little difficult to get the blade open and closed having to line up both pieces.
...These cost most than the knives themselves. 🤷🏾♂

You can use the #8 for #9 at your own risk. I have my own #9 with #8 0n it. It works, however, the clip seats on a knifebit tight.

It is a good question. The Opinel lawyers contacted me and forced me to not to use it because it is sounds close to their brand name.
