Not really over the head dark but death parade is good

Great vid! I usually can't stand horror or grim/dark in general, but i love Angels of Death. You really helped me pull together some strings of understanding why i do. I would love to see more analysis and general discussion like this on the channel!

I'm usually not that good with over-the-top edgy anime, mostly because of the characters feeling very hollow alot of the time. but this story, because of how genuine it is, it manages to make you kinda go "d'aww" a murder/suicide pact lol Also I gotta say... this anime just kinda make me nostalgic? like it reminds me more of edgy fan-content than it does of any official edgy media out there. Zack was like.. designed to have gothy teenage girls gush over him, that is to say he makes me feel like I'm a 14yr old goth kid again XD

I really love the game it's based on so I was very excited when this came out. I wasn't disappointed either, I think as far as adaptations transitioning between from one media to another goes, they did a fantastic job!

hmm, well I tend not to watch that edgy shows, the only one i can think of is overlord. its a anime about a lonely nerd getting isekai into his game where hes the guild master and his guild NPC come to life, they play the Concept pretty well considering all the charterers are only tropes from different anime. its more of a power fantastic then a edgy anime but it has some f*cked up things happening in the background.
