And everyone is SHOOTING.
The Invasion sucked because all Vince wanted to do was bury WCW. Then rather than planning the Invasion a year later with all the big names they gave us a watered down version. And you can’t say some of the WCW guys didn’t love wrestling and took a pay cut like Booker T and DDP then still got completely buried.
There is nothing stopping you from putting some variation of "from 2018" in the title of the video to indicate that it's not a recent comment or interview. Nothing other than your desire for short term clickthroughs at the long-term expense of your organization's integrity, that is.
Its just like with the nWo, after a while it was just whoever they wanted to turn heel that week, they joined the nWo, whoever WWE wanted to turn heel, they join the Alliance, no matter how little sense it made and it just watered down the concept altogether. The nWo worked initially because it felt unpredictable, it felt chaotic and spontaneous and "real", like these successful WWE stars were coming in to take over and get revenge on the company that previously didn't see much in them. Having it seem like a quasi WWE faction invading WCW worked for a while, but it got too big and too powerful and too many inflated egos got involved. The Alliance, while not lasting as long had the same problem, it started with some promise, especially on the July 9th Raw when ECW workers got involved and ganged up on Jericho and Kane, though they didn't need Stephanie McMahon to be revealed as the new owner when Paul Heyman was right there. But then they turned Christian heel and Test heel and Austin heel (or heel again after he briefly helped the WWE) and Angle heel (even if he was a double-agent). And yeah the Alliance needed the star power, but it also just needed to be treated more seriously. At least WCW stars put over nWo stars to make them into a threat, even though it went too far the other way. But WWE never really put over that WCW stars ever had a real chance of beating the established WWE stars.
Turd does not have content to steal anymore so he just recycle some old interviews.
Show his likeness at the time not now
Funny to hear edge talk about guys not wanting to take a pay cut and worry about being misused then he jumps to AEW to make more money lol.
Invasion was awesome.
