Congrats, we've heard the rumors, but I still can't believe AEW got him when he just became a free agent 7 hours prior to Wrestledream starting

You should totally watch AEW. Who knows, a version of the Monday Night Wars might happen again.

Like they always say, anything is possible. Personally, I'd like to see that happen, especially with Edge as a full timer and AEW from what I hear isn't finished yet adding to their roster. I'm excited to see what's going to happen with Edge because, for some reason, WWE never gave him a full-time run, only scheduled appearances, I'm assuming because of his age. I really want to see Edge as a major champion and also team up with Christian one more time, which I think is gonna happen first because I can see Edge turning on Sting and Darby because Edge has always been a great heel character. Plus, we'll get to see Edge vs. Sting. I hope AEW grants him that first, and then we get to see a major championship run, but only time will tell.

Not surprised. It is likely one of 3 things. 1: WWE giving back to AEW for Cody Rhodes showing up. 2: Edge was offered more money. 3: Paul Levesque & Stephanie McMahon secretly own AEW and all this is Kayfabe but also a place for talent to go to when Vince/Writers screws up with good talent.

I just think by being that Edge is older WWE dropped the ball on him because that's usually what they do to older superstars and then eventually they just fizzle out and are released. Edge apparently is getting a full-time run with AEW, we never seen that with WWE plus like you said financial reasons because Tony Khan for a fact had to throw a ton of money at Edge and he's not done spending by a long shot.

You asked how AEW got Edge. They literally have Edge's best friend, Christian, there. I'm pretty sure it wasn't hard to convince Edge to sign just from the fact Christian is there and has been doing some of the best work in his entire wrestling career while in AEW. Plus, you know have 2/3rds of the legendary TLC equation with Edge and Christian and The Hardys. It would be cool to see one last storyline with those four before any one of them finally decides to retire.

That is true. We've heard the rumors, I was just shocked how they got Edge so fast when he just became a free agent, and within the same day within four hours, he's All Elite. I do agree that we'll see Edge & Christian face the Hardy Boyz one more time. I would like to see Edge face Bryan Danielson, Kenny Omega, MJF, Sting, and other opponents. I'm pretty sure Edge will get to all of that since he's a full-time superstar now.
