I got pretty beaten up by the second group of Aliens, which marks the difficulty spike in this mission. This was my first successful run, but not my last. And that particular group was always the biggest problem. When they are summoned, get to the end of the big road (~backwards from starting point) and hide between the buildings till the NPCs spawn. Things can get easier if there are still some of the initial NPCs alive to distract the Aliens for a moment. Rapier Nova, Dragoon Lance ZM (use half charged shots to blast through Alien armor, then a full charge to kill) and Destroyer Blaster FE (reload when half empty) work for this mission, too. Dragoon Lance Tri has the advantage that it can eat through an Alien's armor and kill it in one salvo IF you are close enough.
I could never defeat the second Alien group without recieveing a good ol' beating and in contrast to the Ranger, the WD does not have a Reverser to heal through. But once you've survived this phase, the mission throws no more obstacles in your way. The last group of Aliens is way easier to defeat than the second one and the rocks falling from the sky are just an inconvenience.
About limbs: the Silverman has the same limp-mechanics as Colonists and regular Cosmonauts. If a limb is destroyed, the limb's durability is substracted from the torso's HP. When the limb is regenerated, it has its own HP restored, but the torso's stay lowered. You could defeat him by shooting off his legs over and over again. This does not apply to elite Cosmonauts. You can sever their limbs all day without killing them. That's why they are able to survive so aggravatingly long while laying on the ground crippled, getting butchered again and again.
The nice thing about this run is the end. It's hard to hear, but the guy from HQ says "Not even Storm 1 can do anything about that monster!" just a second before "that monster" dies.

so thats why character in EDF 6 are mostly mixed with civilians and not well equipped like EDF 4.1 and 5 after learning only 700 millions left on devastated landscape filled with rubbles and corpses
So even the Wing Diver, with all of their destructive capabilities and power, is unable to handle that second wave. Damn... Oh well. At least this seems to be a bit of a record for how many Rangers managed to survive up to that point.
I tell ya. This boss fight put me through the ringer hardcore. Definitely in my top five of frustrsting bosses. Sweet video!

If your taking suggestions. Could you do dlc 1 mission 12. I'm having a hard time with all classes doing that one

Have done that several times online. Offline not so much... I'll see what I can do.
11:15 I think when you accidentally no clip to the ground, you'll get teleported to the highest point of the map(?)

Exactly. My Glitch Raider runs are based on that mechanic.
What if you use Heaven's Gate from the top of buildings for the second wave of cosmonauts? Then you'd be safe.

Sadly, the Silverman has the ability to crush houses in that phase.
Was hoping to see some sweet tactics to use here, but seems like will need at least 6000 armor for this one. My wing diver only has 1700 :(

Sadly, there seems no way around. You can try sniping the Aliens with Monster GZ, but they'll shoot back with their lasers.

@@R-R-R Cool, thanks! Any tips how to get weapons greater than lvl 90 please? I can do Approaching Monster Balls but can't manage any levels higher than that on Inferno

James Stock You can farm level 100 crumbling city to get some weapons above lv90, also DLC inferno drops high lv weapons.

I strictly adhere to the online weapon limits when playing offline. The game would pose no challenge otherwise.
