I used to think this mission basically required Ranger to have either a lot of health or some kind of Reverser cause he doesn't have good enough movement to avoid the Nameless or the Cosmonauts. But after several days of experimenting, I ended up finding a way to not only beat this without taking damage, but without any support equipment either (no movement speed, sprint, or bike). Turns out the Nameless works like Cosmonaut AI in that it needs to see you to perform most of its attacks, and if it loses sight of you, you can get behind it and approach undetected. Gave it a shot and it worked. That indestructable.... structure.... blocks his view. When he found me, he even pointed at me just like one of the aliens. When he summoned the second reinforcement, 3 of the Aliens got spawned in a building! They were trapped and I murdered them through the wall with the Buster Shot ^^ I had non-moving red dots on the radar several times in the past. Obviously, those were Aliens that got stuck somehow. But I wouldn't have assumed that these Aliens got incarcerated in a building. Thanks for sharing your strategy. I won't replicate it 1:1 on my channel, as that's your victory. But the trapped Aliens will make it into my glitches-section. I'll pin your comment, so people can find the link.

It's endearing how even after all the destruction caused by the primers the EDF is still idealistic enough to attempt arresting the nameless if he offers no resistance.

I think it's more due to the fact that the EDF wants to hold it hostage and use it as a bargaining chip to stop the invasion rather than any idealistic adherence to rules of war, or some moralistic nonsense. I believe if the situation were a little different (humanity not being so devestated), the EDF would immediately unleash a full on murderrape on that bastard's ass instead of this arrest stuff. Ah well, at least my Double Blast Spear finally gets to penetrate a god wholeheartedly. That's what you get for making my waifu go insane.

I suspect it is meant more like h0ow you usually make bailed out pilots prisoners of war. It's not a civilian police style arrest, and more 'you are now our hostage' style gun to the head kidnapping. Given the backstory it is entirely fair for Storm 1 to just start blasting as at this point it's been a war to the hilt for a while already.

...Good lord, you melted the sonova bitch at the ending. The "God" died before Command even finished cheering your name, and before the grand-finale music started playing. Wish you would have grabbed the Sargent's Squad after the Third Wave of Aliens, but hey: A win's a win. Even if your old guardian couldn't see it themselves.

Sadly, the attack team was not swallowed in a cloud of smoke. HQ has declared this victory invalid and is curently trying to contact the fleeing primer fleet about it. They must come back and be defeated in accordance with EDF regulations!

Just ended at hard difficulty i love edf but i had appreciate a little bit more the 4.1 because the missions are more various but maybe the weapons are Better here... the robots of the 4.1

It's more of a Alien Race being so psychic like a God. Luckily this time we aren't having any real life gods in the game.

I've been using this videos as a guide but I noticed you haven't done every mission with ranger on inferno. There's a ton to do in this game that even since launch it would be a very tedious grind to do a video of every mission for every character. Do you have any recommendations for mission 42 and 43 as a ranger on inferno?

If I remember correctly, Saving Europe 1 is a case for missiles and shotgun. Europe 2 was more difficult. I think I went to a corner of the map and used a Railgun for the Anchors (and houses). A Reverser to keep the NPCs alive. The Anchors activate only when something close to them is damaged, so you can work your way through them from one side to the other. I kept recordings of pretty much everything, but not those two. That could mean that I had problems and wanted to redo them later. Or I found them too easy. Must have been 2 years ago, so memory is fading.

I played this as a fencer i hit his balls with a shotgun and big punch combo all the stage XD

Edf 4.1 shotgun looks like pea shooter compared to this
