I thought how on earth did anyone watch the whole 49min of eden review...and here I am proven wrong. You really did a good review. Perhaps a bit of editing would make it more sophisticated, but the scenario you wrote is really intriguing.

I love how Dacob described the perfume, it's scent and the bottle. Is so depth, no one can described it the way Dacob did 💞

I first used Eden in '95, around the time my son was born. I remember I used to listen to "Have you ever really loved a woman?" and was spreading around the perfume Eden. There still is such an emotion bringing together Eden, this song and keeping my sweet little son in my arms. So much to be felt yet not uttered around this perfume, so alluring, so much mystery in it. Like it collects unspoken memories, it hints to stories that only my heart knows. That what I've been feeling about it. I still have it, don't use it too often not to ruin the magic of it. And I love it even more on wet weather, although i don't connect perfumes to seasons, to weather, to day or evening. I love, love, love you talking about perfumes and I adore this one.

Your comment is such a beautiful reverence towards one of the most intriguing perfumes. I wear it when I am alone - all devoted to myself and nostalgic reminiscences about the '90s. Childhood, humid long summers and an eccentric neighbor whose signature perfume used to be Eden. I own a new version: sure they changed it from the original but it's still powerful enough to evoke old good memories.

Best artistic, historic and most beautiful perfume description I have listened to lately! Bravo!🌱🌿🌱 Just bought the biggest Eden bottle I could get my hands on!🦜

Eden by far is cacharels best perfume in my opinion. I remember my neighbour used to wear it and when she left the building 20 minutes later I could still smell it in the building hallway. It was definitely a beast of a fragrance and so well put together. I will have to check out the new formulation, I'm hoping I won't be disappointed.

I just love when a perfume leaves a trail behind itself and also when a perfume announces itself before it even enters the room on the wearer. Haha! Eden is definitely best when it lets you smell its trail. I say this because Eden has that mesmerizing quality of luring one in. It is a quality not many perfumes have these days. The new formulation will surprise you in a good and bad way but the trick is in figuring out where on the body to apply it and in which weather conditions.

Indeed,Eden is a niche!There's nothing like it (older version) these days! It was love at a first sniff for me,It brings me so many memories! I only have the new formulation and I find it very weak and unfinished somehow..I'm craving for an old bottle!

Please try Xerjof Opera , for my nose it is 90 percent the same. So Eden is definetly niche class and for me even better then Opera with a much nicer drydown and only small difference in the opening

Thanks for a really awesome review! I had Eden when it came out, I was in my early teens, and my friends told me I smelled like an old lady, so I gave it to my mum.. Now I just bought it again and I still love it! It brings me right back to that time. A year later I got Sun Moon Stars, and nobody frowned on me wearing that, but when I look at the notes now, it seems like Eden and Sun Moon Stars would smell similar (which is only natural since the came out the same year). I’m thinking of getting that too - have you smelled it? Is it worth owning both?

Hi, thank you so much for an outstanding product review and given some well deserved attention to this absolute gem. My goodness, I remember It like yesterday that my son got me my very first EDEN for Mother’s Day in 1994! Very quickly, it became my signature scent. Everyone used to ask me what I’ve had on and never told anybody and kept it as a secret for such a long time. I simply didn’t want to share it with anybody. I was devastated when they changed the formula and for me it became a little heavier than the original but that never stopped me having a bottle in my collection. I always get a little bottle each year on Mother’s Day. I absolutely love wearing this perfume, always get compliments and never felt myself with any other perfume that I have every tried. Your review is so spot on and for me brought so many memories as I was listening to your comment. Thank you so much 💕💕

Oooh, I love the smell of black locust flowers! They reminds of tuberose a bit with a grape bubble gum note. Very sweet. Last month I was thinking how interesting black locust would be in a perfume! I may have to locate a bottle of Eden so I can enjoy it all year round. Thank you for your passion.

At its release, I wasn't fond of "Eden". I had different taste in parfumes at this time. It was so strange, so different. Loved the flacon though. Your video kindled my interest again.Thank you for your in depth review. Need to buy "Eden" and travel into my past again.

Love the vintage version to the point i hoard splash miniatures just to smell the warm, humid and opulent paradise that is Eden. The new formulation sadly has a sharpness that prevents me from loving it unfortunately. Something about the ingredients from vintage versions give them a roundness and a depth i miss in designer fragrances today. I Have the same reaction to the reformulated version of tocade(Rochas). The warm round amber from my vintage bottles is absent from the newer formulation.

Please Dacob, can you tell me what's the difference between "Eden" and "Eau d'Eden". Because I remember the smell of the second one, but I have never tried Eden.

I used Eden in the 90's and looking back i was too young to appreciate the mystery. There is only one other perfume that comes close to the experience of Eden ( it would even fit the name Eden 2, even though it smells different both are otherworldly flower gardens) which is Yohji - Yohji Yamamoto 1996 for women.

I have a feeling that there is something seriously wrong with your numbers.Your channel is informative,researched and based in fashion fact.You have a wide range of topics and content which appeals across all algorithms but yet still 38k.I know you have talked about the percentage views versus the actual subscribers but I think that something is really amiss with the attribution regarding the numbers. Just as a sidebar.....a housewife I know has 15k in one year and all she does is seemingly cook too much meat for her kids. Cant fathom it.🖤🖤🖤🖤

Im the most obssesed fan of Eden ever. First discovered in their time (1994) in a newspaper display, even only the fainted scent who had the paper literally send me to a nostalgic part of the paradise. But in that time the price of the parfum was too much for me, i was only a girl, so i was searching different imitators who never nailed the pretty "heart" who that scent gives me. Finally, when get my own money, got my bottle, but now im feel too mundane for the honor to carry it so freely. This parfum reminds me my adolescence, when myself was a flower ready to become a fruit but "not yet"...This one, together with Eternity, are my most beloved scents from that time. And yea, the Eau de Eden was wonderful, too. More freshy and easygoing, but now completly discontinued. I miss it too much, probably if apeared right now i would run to get my bottle.

The Eden bottle is truly a work of art and I agree. It is such a pity that they do not make it anymore the way it was originally made in the 90's.

In Brasil there is a brand called Mahogani that makes a fragrance called India Misteriosa that is inspired by Eden, if it is too difficult to find.

Cacharel affiliates seem to stop distribution in certain countries randomly. Eden is still sold in Chile, but I know it's discontinued in several countries.

I cannot believe I threw my original 1994 bottle away when I moved to my house 😭

I film live Ines. There is no editing. You also would not edit a perfume lifespan on your skin once you sprayed it unless of course you do not like the perfume, in which case you would not use that perfume again but even then, you might revisit the perfume a few months or years later and realize you are in love with it… and thats how I treat my live videos too. They are not for everyone but they are me. Xoxo
